"Not a whole lot of rational anything going on here."
It should be painfully obvious, then, why Nugent is considered a voice for the whacko Right.

On another note, it sure is interesting to see the contrasting reactions to the Dixie Chicks' pretty benign statement about being embarrassed to be from the state G Bush was from, and the supportive screaming from the emotionally-stunted crowd over Nugent's not so subtle death threats.
Nailed it.

Oh...and let's not forget how the right tried to make a coward of John Kerry for actually fighting in a war and hero out of Bush who couldn't finish flight school.
Ted fits the mold.

This election is going to be pivotal event for our nation.
Time to really look and think about all the bogus crap our govmt had been doing in the last 15 - 20 years.
Especially the last 3 years.
If your doing better, good for you, you must be on welfare or be one of the lucky federal employes.
Ted has a right to speak his mind, as we all do.

Of course he does. What's freaky is how many people agree with him, and pay $ to listen to his hateful schlock.

FYI - The last three years are a direct result of the previous administrations' eight years of malicious, maligned conduct. It gets pretty old hearing the blame heaped upon our current president. The bus had already been driven into the ditch, teetering at the edge of the precipice, right where the Right wing cabal wanted it. Good luck to any man trying to repair the mindless damage inflicted upon our country.
As for Turd, what a piece of work! His slimy, sorry, spoiled ass wouldn't last long in the Belly of the Beast.

Like yelling "FIRE" in a theater, free speech has some limitations in this country. Turd has clearly stepped way beyond acceptable.

Ron and the rest of you whack jobs..."Threatening the President of the United States is a class D felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States". The United States Secret Service investigates suspected violations of this law and monitors those who have a history of threatening the President. Because the offense consists of pure speech, the courts have issued rulings attempting to balance the government's interest in protecting the President with free speech rights under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States."

It is probably O.K. to threaten a black president . . . such is the state of racism in this country.

You can try to change the channel, Ron, but the fact remains: Nugent is an as#@&%e, and he's a voice for your Party.

Bush was a f%#k- up, but it cracks me up how you guys will be blaming Bush for the next 20 years. Just because Bush was bad does not mean this guy is not worse. But he's black so don't you dare say anything bad about him or you must be a far right wing racist.
Fact is the debt under this administration has been growing do to this administrations policies. At what point is it not Bushs' or any prior administrations fault anymore? That line is really starting to get old and people aren't buying it anymore.
All hail the messiah who can do no wrong.

I agree that Obama is a disappointment. But more because he has not done much to help with healthcare or get us out of afghanistan. So how would having voted for McCain have made that better? Or how would voting for Romney improve on anything Obama is doing? I am very interested in your answer, because I see Obama getting a lot of blame for what Bush did, and very little credit, simply because he isn't as strong as we would like.
As I see it, Obama is ruling from right of center. So how would voting for a person who would rule even further right of center help?

and Apogee,, i dont know how many more times i can type,, its not my party. But its a clear indication of how far lefters or righters take things..Its "either or"...
Yes.." either or" is often very black and white thinking, but do you see how you also get very black and white? You just did when you said "all" of us wanted Bush dead. And you said our thoughts were just like Nugents.. which is absurd.
