Wow, do that. I'm in the book under McClenahan in Nederland and my number's on any email I send you.
So Fritz of the Mutants eh? Real fun music. Sort of proto Pixies in a way?
Maybe that's a stretch.
All this reminds me of time with the Swiss contingent.
There's Michi dead center...

Well, having survived the Punk wars of the '80's, its expected that you would have lost everything.
(it's all just "attachment" anyhow.. hahaha)
So, I had a bunch of Michi's slides, really from way back in those years and I mailed them back to him about 5 years ago. This one I had scanned, cuz it's cool, eh?

Hey Tar,
who was it who said, "those who ignore the lessons of silly world history are doomed to repeat its silliness."
I really SHOULD know that myself having achieved tenure at Southern Utah Polytechnic. Did I tell you that I've been named Chairperson of the Chipping School and was recently awarded my Doctor of Drilling?
(but what's with the grammar? Etymology ain't no Kelsey.)
I just want to thank all the little people.
The tall ones have my consent to fornicate themselves.

I met Tim during a visit to SoIll when he happened to be passing through for his book. He was great fun to hang and climb with. Glad to see he's done well with his book. I don't care much for guides but I do like knowing where there is climbing when I'm travelling and Tim's book fits the bill perfectly for that.

Yes, he did a guide to AZ, I think called something like
"Living Dangerously".
Tim has guided many seasons in the Tetons.
This is a very powerfull, meticulous, Friendly Guy.
He's The Bomb.

"a cheap way to fly", TNT, late 80's, mostly flag bouldering areas (there's, like 30 of 'em, on six different kinds of rock, eat yer hearts out beotches)
"a cheap way to die", sedona climbing, never was a guidebook title so apt.....that choss makes the worse rock in canyonlands feel like granite.
last time i was toula, he ambushed me and sherman at ibex in '99, walked up to us across the playa without saying a word wearing a dreadlocks wig, jamaican flag beret, and huge sunglasses, yelling "IRE, MON, I AND I GIVE TANKS AND PRAISES, JAH RASTAFARI", mumbling shite about marcus garvey, me and sherman were geting ready to make a run for it wen we realize it's toula 'cause he can't keep a straight face any more and starts cracking up....
and then there was the time in '92 when the 'natrix and i gave him a ride to the airport in boston, he had some woman named eve's ticket that he'd bought for $40 bucks, and we got blotto in the airport bar while he practiced his fake czeck accent: "yes, my name is EV-a..."
did TNT ever finish his acupuncture training??
