All is fixed in the M&M cyber world. They even upgraded to DSL. No if we can only shoehorn them into revealing all.

-OMG Roy!
Mama Kitty! I almost fell off the chair! That is such a sweet shot and worth a hard copy..thank you for that..."sigh". Mama only recently departed and lived to be 23 1/2 years old..can you believe it?! She could hang with all the boys even through the band days, life was purrrrfect for the Mama Kitty! Roy you look marvelous you sure are handsome fella..nice snow boots.
Raw footage at the Needles..those shots rock! That is some serious business up there, whew! Mari's looking so swank she could climb just about anything, mind like a steel trap... between the two of them (M&M) it's some kind of secret weapon!
I'd really like to see them again..LIVE here's my second invite if you guys are lurkin! LURK ON..then consider...
Mari we made a pact to climb in Yosemite together...get on up here, mt. biking out the back door, river to dive into..nice kitties Bodhi and Sattva..and i'm a mean Vegan cook! Come on Mike..make it so! You don't even have to camp..it's deluxe!

Dunno if Greg Epperson lurks here, but the color shot of Mari on Pyromania at the Needles is beyond classic. The black and white version is pretty cool too, but the color of that rock rules. Eppi, please post if you can.

Mari G. is someone that I only know about from pictures. I've just never seen the stories about her that I have read about/by some of her contemporaries, but from the pics of her that I've seen here and there, she seems like she climbed as solidly as any gal I know about.
Anyway, a couple of months ago I was taking a break from Supertopo by cruising the internet for information that actually relates to my work. I was reviewing some papers that I used to reference a lot when I noticed that one of the authors was "Mari Gingery". How many can their be?
Anyway...Mari, if you're lurking, nice work all the way around.

Melissa, you're right as far as her professional work is concerned. From what I have gleemed she's as well known in that arena as in ours.

Thanks for the 2 cents Mike! and, you were right, all I wanted to say is that Mari did on her own, what others sought with assistance.
and speaking of same, how about all those that acclimated at Snowbird for a week, whilst Mari worked in the bio lab, only to blow everybody's doors by 40 feet on saturday after flying up the day before? That was great to watch, and other than bouldering contests the only time I can remember her competing, is that correct?
Still wondering if Mike gets an occasional Mari sewn chalkbag.

Ya Werner, another thing I've been meaning to post in conjuction with this route, when I have you checking in, is this big tree that used to be on the descent, which we rappeled from.
Used to be right?
I hear the big tree fell out!
Funny thing is, when we rapped the route, I saw this teeny weeny little sprig of a tree with a sling on it, right next to the big 'ole tree, to the left.
Cosgrove or someone said "yeah, that's what Werner uses!"
If that is true, you are something else man!
(knew so anyhow, but it's a good story I think)

Don't remember seeing a tree that big so it musta fallin outa there?
I've done the route about 8 or 9 times or more now. But haven't been up there in the last 4 years.
That's a cool shot of Mike and Mari dangling around on the descent rappels which would be the windjammer route.
Did it once with Shipley and Merry, we trundled a huge ass loose block at the base of the 3rd pitch. It took out the top of pine tree below.
Awesome route this windfall, and that roof still spits out a lot of these modern guys for some reason. It's technical and catches them by surprise.
