Why would somebody do such a study if they weren't driving for a certain biased conclusion?

The whole thing is set up to gain only one conclusion. This is what they do in Universities now???

I guess it explains a lot.

It explains where you get your Newz from.
And it helps answer my other question.

What that I don't think facts are irrelevant?

I also glean information from Haaretz. What does that say about me?

Nothing, Philo. Same as the ridiculous study you posted.

To ask loaded questions to people and then attribute their answers to if they ever watch Fox News is pretty lame. Most people who follow news use more than one source, especially with the internet news sites.

It's almost unavoidable on the internet.

The cult-like hatred of Fox is more interesting to me than the study. It's really pretty interesting.

Hey Blew, it was Fats who was attributing something to me for reading al Jazeera.

I am just saying that those of you who have argued to refute the OP have done a marvelous job of proving it.

General rule of thumb.

The more extraordinary the claim the greater the evidence required to support it.

This study is therefore completely superfluous

this webpage has direct links to the PDF files for the Maryland study (both the analysis/discussion and the questionaire with findings and methodology -- a combined 52 pages):

http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/brunitedstatescanadara/671.php?nid=&id=&pnt=671&lb=

some people here have, in no uncertain terms, stated that they believe U of Maryland is highly biased. They have stated that this study is highly biased. If you would be so kind as to provide specific examples from this report where you believe the methodology or analysis is flawed/biased I would be grateful. I'm a decent chemist but not a great sociologist....

because the huffington post is so awesome right. they all spin stories to some degree, that's why it's better to get news from different sources and try to boil off the bs.

High Traverse.

I do hope you caught my joke.

It was basically pointing out that this study is akin to studying which direction the sun rises from and finding out it is not from shrubs ass.
