Well, let's not be too noisy - might get us into trouble with #46. It's not a competition, after all.

On the other hand, maybe we could webcast it, for the unfortunates who can't be there in person.

Jeff:
Saturday night. Hmm. I have a very busy social schedule.

I like tacos. Tacos rule.

That is all.

I do like sushi better though :D

Not sure how this all works foodwise, do people usually potluck or ?

Would be good to know so we have an idea of how much food we need to bring.

Good to know, I will put that on the list.

When you get it hammered down, please post up the when and where, and anything you may need - I will bring some plates and forks and such.

I would be happy to send a case of salsa for Tacos with Tacos. I sent a case general delivery one year, and ekat graciously delivered the goods. If anyone will except the package, let me know.
The package must be shipped by tomorrow.

OK, I've never been to the Facelift. Where do people meet in Yosemite? And where to stay if you don't have a campsite? Logistics ... help me, please!

Sarah: Read the rest of this thread, plus the other "FaceLift" thread that I'm about to bump. It should fill you in on camping, etc - I believe there may still be space at Tamarack Flat, anyway.

Also see http://www.yosemiteclimbing.org/content/8th-annual-yosemite-facelift

Make sure you contact the YCA about camping, asap - you can't just show up and hope, unfortunately.

ps Don't forget to come to the FatTrad BBQ at Yellow Pine on Saturday (24th). We're not actually barbecuing him, though.

Will be in YP & at TF. My 17yo son will be along to be embarrassed by me, and we'll bring some extra beverages in case the tacos make people thirsty.

Another thought - IIRC, you work for a newspaper, not far from Yosemite. Maybe they'd like to do a piece on the FaceLift, and you could combine business and pleasure? If so, you should let Ken know. The NPS generally likes that sort of thing, plus it might help in other ways.

Vegas,

I supply everything but plates, drinks and utensils for Sat. night TacoFest.

A donation is requested for the Yos. Climbing Assoc.

That IS the SuperTacoFest spirit I was happy to start with Fatty and JohnElezarian. No money required, but an 'optional' donation to the YCA is recommoneded. Whatever you can afford.

Again, it's optional. But yer getting a free meal, so have a heart. The YCA is a good cause.

Fatty, contact pocoloco on that salsa!!!! See upthread^^^^. You'd be a fool not to.

Have a good time guyz, maybe I'll see ya'll next year.

EDIT: Looks like Fish Finder is on the salsa. Kick ass$$Ssss!!!!

Bringing some nice vino to round out the Fest. I can help with bringing in other goods if necessary.
Edit,
Pocoloco's salsa is awesome, tasted some at the Flanderfest, yummy. Thanks!
