This all started with the Kennedys;.....smoking pot in the White House, sleeping with movie stars....driving drunk off of bridges...that is what we get for putting an Irish catholic in the White House.....

Something to think about.
It's something I've thought about quite a bit. And the question I can never answer is why, if someone is a decent person "in real life", why do they think they can abandon decency here?
Why be an as#@&%e on Supertopo -- a place many of us view as our communal campfire, or pub, or whatever -- if you wouldn't be an as#@&%e at a real campfire or pub?
Are you somehow less of a jerk if you piss on a virtual campfire than on a real campfire? Doesn't seem that way to me. You're still wrecking things for other people.

...and so we fill the empty spaces in our lives with drivel.
What a yawner - carry on with your shallow filler, though it does make one wonder at the quality of content in your real worlds, if this passes for entertainment.

So why are you bumping this "yawner" to the top of the page?
It's clear that you admire Matt Moore - and couldn't care less about how he's befouled this forum - but still...

From the NYT.
"Psychological research has proven again and again that anonymity increases unethical behavior. Road rage bubbles up in the relative anonymity of one’s car. And in the online world, which can offer total anonymity, the effect is even more pronounced. People — even ordinary, good people — often change their behavior in radical ways. There’s even a term for it: the online disinhibition effect."

I can't imagine spending time capturing indtertard forum posts to repost at a later date. The pathos!
I can't imagine being banned 40+ times from a single internet forum,
notably 26 times in the last 5 days alone.
The pathos!
Your buddy, who is supposedly "about the same at a real campfire as a virtual one" is giving the legendary DrKodos a solid run for the money; be sure to pass on my congratulations...
