However, I am indeed going to take this as a lesson to wear a helmet, always.

There was a short obituary for Heather in the Toronto Globe and Mail today.

you know, i don't know all there is to know about this event (this tragic event), but you can't really have a death by blunt force trauma to the head w/out a helmet and say a helmet wouldn't have made a difference, at least not in a 60 foot low angle fall...

buckle your safety belts and wear a helmet, or know that you are rolling the dice, it's that simple. no judgment either way.
