Edit: Someone one clue me into the plan

Well, Steve was talking about getting started at five or five-thirty. When I said that seemed a bit late, as there would only be a couple of hours daylight left, he looked at me funny.

At first I couldn't understand his explanation, but then it finally dawned on me that what he was saying meant that "five o'clock" actually came twice in the day.

Is that bizarre, or what? I mean, who knew?

So, it looks like the vehicles in the convoy to Index may be widely spaced.

But I'll give you a call in a few minutes and we can chat.

Very nice meeting everybody (and seeing Wayne again) last night! Too bad nature couldn't be there. Hope to climb on Sunday if there's a plan after everybody gets heat stroke at Index tomorrow.

It actually turns out I might have been able to be there.

I got out of a yoga class in Seattle at 7PM last night. drove home cuz I thought I needed to make dinner for my dad.

He had a pizza.

Edit: I'm heading up to Ghosts place at 6:15AM tomorrow.

I was SO PLEASED to meet everyone last night. The company, atmosphere, food, were all fabulous. I wish I had more time on this journey.

Here are a couple of pics that were taken with my camera. Mimi has some as well, I think.

My camera died but I did get this great example of a native of Hawaii vs one from the PNW. Check out the nice color vs the pastiness. hahaha!

Wayno and Masha were beyond generous as always and the atmosphere at Angelo's was perfect. Thanks for those chantes! Yum!

Meeting Ken was such a treat. We were honored and really enjoyed his stories. Too bad it was such a short visit.

And Paulina has definitely fallen in with a good crowd as shown above. Always a good thing meeting a new climbing buddy.

Can't wait until tomorrow evening when Ghost and Mari arrive at the base to join us. Just kidding Mari!

We got nothing but vintage MSR observatory domes and a Joe Brown. I thought you didn't like helmets...

Hey Ghost, get some sleep WUD ya! We're gonna be greasin' like pork. Can't wait. I want my feet to flame! Like on Serenity Crack with Dan Nguyen, a physicist visiting from Brown?, back when I was young.

nature, if you weren't such a fag having to go to yoga instead of partying with us, you'd know what was up. I hope your strep has dissipated.

Apparently the sh#t-talking has already begun.

I have an old Bell TopTex that Doug can use, if he wants.

if I was um... a bundle of wood.... considering there were 25 people in the yoga room and 3 of them were male... don'tcha think that'd be the sorta wrong place to be um.... well... checking out other bundles of wood?

jus' sayin'

and yes... the sh#t talking has begun.

I'm healthy again and ready for many a top rope ride.

I'll grab a helmut at David's place. I need it to protect my freshly shaved dome.

When are all you losers coming to Squamish, anyway? I distinctly recall loose talk to that effect.
