Another bloke who should be skipping 'happy' hour.

Dingus speaks truly, IMO. Mel showed early promise with a few fantastic films, though mostly these were owing to the vision of George Miller. Nevertheless, what followed were mostly vanity pieces that followed the progressive nature of his boozing. Now he's finally shown himself as a jew-hating, wife-beating, bottom feeding dingo from hell. Mel might have a pocket full of dough, but he's so much white trash to me.
He can recover, for sure he can. And I'd throw him or anyone else a rope if I could. I'm no better and I know it. But Mel's looking at one hell of a sixth step (making amends).

Not to cast stones, because no one is perfect, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD . . .
I have always liked Mel Gibson movies. He is a very good actor.
However, as a person he has an incredible amount of short-comings to say the least.
I think that Stardom really goes to some people's head and changes them for the worst. I do not know if Mel has always had this hate in his heart, or has it gotten worse over the years? I don't know. But it seems to me, that some in the spot-light of Stardom have and do really lose it as human-beings. Sometimes people think of themselves as GOD-like and that they can do anything to anybody and treat anyone like trash. It just is not so. Pretty delusional if you ask me.
Those people who can remain human despite their fame and treat others as they would like to be treated, well they are just so much more better for it. A few people/actors come to mind: Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, Paul Newman etc.
Mel needs some serious help. I know GOD can and will forgive him if his heart is sincere, but humans are much less forgiving.

I think South Park Nailed it. Even though they toned it down from the initial presentation.

Will Mel Gibson’s worst legacy...be that gruesome and capriciously anti-semitic film, "THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST?"
It has to be the most graphic and brutal death ever portrayed on film. It turns my stomach when I hear it described as a masterpiece. I’ve even heard Christians refer to it as beautiful and inspiring.
I haven’t heard much praise for it in the Jewish community. I bet Hitler and Himmler would have been enthralled though. Braveheart merely roused pride and rallied testosterone fantasy. The "Passion" animates (and justifies) payback in a very illegitimate and manipulative way.

Dr. Nancy, NBC's Today, minutes ago-
"He's so unglued he needs help immediately and I mean in the next couple of hours."
Is he a sick man, though? (Meredith)
This is mental illness. (Dr. Nancy)
This Mel Gibson soap opera has so many angles.
Lawyers, one-sided taping, media hype, estrogen clubs critiquing male behavior, declaring what is or isn't "mental illness".
Another observation-
"Give me money or I will release these tapes." Say it without lawyers, it's extortion. Say it through lawyers, it's negotiation.
Isn't this bullsh#t?
There are at least three "new worlds" people have to watch nowadays: the corporate world, the media world and the legal professionals run amuck world.
Just my morning rant.

from FOXnewsHe accuses her of lying to him about having breast implants.
Go
"They just look stupid," Gibson tells her at one point in the recording. "Keep them if you want to. They look like a Vegas bitch, a Vegas whore."
"You look like a (expletive) bitch in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of (N-word), it will be your fault," Gibson is heard telling Grigorieva. "You provoked it. You are provocatively dressed."
was mel not smart enough to figure out whether his wife had implants?
plus, that second statement, his wife deserves the money!

The Latest:
Schwarzenegger compares Mel Gibson to oil leak
Wed Jul 21, 7:49 pm ET
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Terminator is taking a few shots at the Road Warrior.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wise-cracked about Mel Gibson on Wednesday, comparing him to the Gulf of Mexico oil leak.
Schwarzenegger told a group of utility commissioners in Sacramento that while BP appears to have contained its well, "no one has figured out how to contain Mel Gibson."
A celebrity website has posted audio recordings of what it says are Gibson's profanity-laced tirades against his ex-girlfriend.
Schwarzenegger also told participants to turn off their cell phones "because we are expecting a call from him."
Gibson spokesman Alan Nierob says he is happy to hear that Schwarzenegger is maintaining a sense of humor, adding, "He's obviously paving the way for a return to showbiz."
