okay, so the spare tire holds air, i just checked.

you can run it on veggie oil but only if you feed it lots of oil cause the things smokes like a Cuban!

i think if your here on the weekend you could talk to the owner mom and negotiate a lower price. you know, cause it's already done lots of doughnuts!

The seller apparently reads supertopo and price just went up to 650 Pesos. You better get to The Potrero soon.

If anyone in the San Diego area wants a used full size pop top, a friend of mine has a Turtle Top available for super cheap. It's on a broken down Dodge van at this time. To install it he simply sawzalled the original van roof off to the correct opening size. Just use the mating flange as a template.

I have an 87 Econoline 250. I got it with 19,000 and it's somewhere over 100,000 now. (can't remember)

It's been super. No major engine hassle. (just stuff like brakes, alternator, batteries and cooling system problems) That's from a guy very suspicious of American Cars. That said, the transmission is starting to slip when the van is cold.

Had two volkswagen vans before. Their engine die like mayflies and they are way underpowered and need maintenance like supermodels.

Mine has a V8 and gas mileage is low teens. I'll drive to josh in late April and that will hurt!

Peace

Just saw this and I won't bother to read the whole thing... but if you do buy a stripped fleet van you can then take it to SportsMobile and they can put in a poptop/bed for you in just a couple hours for around 2 grand. So you could have a nice pop top for pretty cheap depending on what you pay for the van.
