bummer on that injury lingering around. Hope you start feeling better. Any ice up there these days? Maybe on my way back to bishop i'll stop by, and at least fool around on some roadside stuff.

Sorry to hear you're still not healed.
Leg injuries, especially on shin can take a long time.
I trust you have a fine doctor.
If the injury doesn't make continuous, noticeable progress please go back to see him/her right away.
My neighbor nearly lost his leg when his "doctor" dropped the ball. His wounds from surgery were failing to improve and he and his doc ignored it. Until the infection nearly took his leg. Then he had to go to a wound specialist. I'd say they saved his leg. His wounds IMMEDIATELY started improving and now he's OK.
Just keep an eye on it.
Sorry you're missing your Ecuador departure. BUMMER. Hang tough

Wow! Still hurting? Sorry to hear it.
Must be nasty, hang in there.
Equador must be cool, among other things it has the highest summit on earth.

Yikes! That still looks infected. You might try drawing a circle around the outer limits of the redness so that you can easily check if it's spreading. And take vitamin E which helps a lot with growing new skin.
Meanwhile, sending good vibes your way.

Oh gawd Cragman. Better amputate that thing 'fore it spreads north.
Those post drivers are bad news. Years ago when I worked on a landscape crew my boss was driving a t-stake with one of those. He looked away for a second and when he pulled down somehow managed to twist the handle toward his head. I was working around the corner and could hear the whole thing... Ping... Ping... Ping... ... ...FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!! He was dancing around like a chicken with his head cut off and my buddy and I were laughing so hard we couldn't even help him. Poor fella. He survived.

driving tea steaks is no clean task. i've never used one of those cylinder tools that bit you, but i've used my share of sledge hammers and other assorted battle axes'. little shards of rusty metal flying at your face; stake wobblin all over beggin you to miss its mushroomed head and tag your hand. yea i hate t-stakes.
