Ha this show is ridiculous. I watched the 9/11 episode and noticed Mr. "Ain't got time to bleed" had already decided there was a conspiracy here and that the US Government was behind it before looking at all the information objectively. I think Penn and Teller had a better episode on this on their show Bullsh$t.

Ted Olson's Report of Phone Calls from Barbara Olson on 9/11: Three Official Denials

by David Ray Griffin

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=8514

The most serious official contradiction of Ted Olson’s story came in 2006 at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called 20th hijacker. The evidence presented to this trial by the FBI included a report on phone calls from all four 9/11 flights. In its report on American Flight 77, the FBI report attributed only one call to Barbara Olson and it was an “unconnected call,” which (of course) lasted “0 seconds.”9 According to the FBI, therefore, Ted Olson did not receive a single call from his wife using either a cell phone or an onboard phone.

Back on 9/11, the FBI itself had interviewed Olson. A report of that interview indicates that Olson told the FBI agents that his wife had called him twice from Flight 77.10 And yet the FBI’s report on calls from Flight 77, presented in 2006, indicated that no such calls occurred.

This was an amazing development: The FBI is part of the Department of Justice, and yet its report undermined the well-publicized claim of the DOJ’s former solicitor general that he had received two calls from his wife on 9/11.

Yep, I only get Ad hominen attacks back . . . apparently that is all you can muster.

Now my age is in question? Geeeeee. How old do you think I am? What a hoot.

People of all ages are known to have lost their grip on reality.

(If, indeed, they ever had one.)

Makes you wonder.
How would you like to need a rescue from some crazy 911 conspiracy theorist.
Scary. Hope it never happens to me,...

GDavis,

All I can assume is that you want others to see a picture from your youth when you were potty training. OK, yes it is a cute picture of you I'll have to admit. Most would be a little embarrassed to post such a picture.

Very special.

Sometimes you just gotta share! Hey, who else can claim to be in high school as a two year old?

Didn't mean to poke fun, Klimmer, yer a nice guy. Though i tend not to agree with you on issues, you're a pretty cool dude. Just came across that photo on awkwardfamilyphotos.com and thought it summed up the way I felt reading through all eighty-some-odd posts.

Carry on!

If Bush was in on 9-11, why did he look like such a dumb sh#t when his handlers told him of the "news" when he was reading "My Pet Goat" to the elementary school kids?
He should have been well prepared to have heard the "news" and to have "acted" accordingly.

That deer-in-the-headlights look he had was priceless: if he was just acting to have head the "news" of the 9-11 attacks, he truly deserves an Oscar.

The cell phone thing is interesting: it was certainly my perception that cell phones would not work from airplanes in flight from the few times I tried, but what do I know.

Rox: I don't know if you were aware of this, but Ted Olson is not just "some guy;" he was later named Solicitor General under Bush (a very high ranking job, perhaps right under the Supreme Court in terms of prestige in the lawyers' world), represented Bush before Supreme Court in Bush v. Gore, etc.

It's an interesting coincidence that a very high powered, long time Washington insider was at the center of this cell phone controversy.

I'm not sure how this affects the conspiracy theory one way or the other and you may have already known this, but just wanted to point it out if not.

Magical thinking is endlessly entertaining. Religion, conspiracy theories, whatever. Never a dull moment.

If only they didn't take themselves so seriously.

Here's a link showing the two cell phone calls that came in when UA93 dropped to 2500 feet above ground and cut off when it went back up 7500 feet above ground.

http://www.debunk911myths.org/topics/Cell_phones

It's not surprising that a few cell-phone calls made it through after hundreds of attempts.

And a link documenting all the UA93 calls, including the GTE airphone calls:

Has anyone said anything about Ventura's greasy pony tail? Boom. Roasted.

He reminds me of Bear Grylls of conspiracy theories.

I actually like conspiracy theories. Ventura is not the guy to lend credibility at all. I wouldnt believe much coming from a blowhard like him, true or not.

This is just one photo in the link that monolith gave. It's an example of people spouting sh'it they know nothing about.

This is a point to point microwave link for phone system. These dishes have a very narrow beam width, very high gain and operate in the upper gigahertz region. The are the equivalent a wireless cable connecting two points.

Yosemite Valley uses a system like this and operates at 24 gigahertz into a 40db gain dish with passive reflector to Turtle back dome and onward toward land line in Merced.

These dishes do not themselves connect to cell phones.

This would be more a cell tower connecting to cell phones. The antennas do look like omni's. Unfortunately most layman have no understanding of antenna radiation patterns.

Yosemite Valley's cell towers use these same type of antennas. When I setup our mobile command post on Glacier Point road I have to down tilt our high gain yagis to connect to the cell site. If the antenna is aimed at the horizon on Glacier Point road I go right over the top of the cell site and get no reception.

We had the same problem on top of El Cap in the early years before they added another cell site. Same up there needed to down tilt to connect.

The point is in order for aircraft to connect to cell sites the proper antennas need to be employed along with proper polarity, beam width, and aimed upward otherwise you'll shoot right over top of the Fresnel zone of the antennas radiation pattern.

Thus the final point is one must be sure these cell towers are actually setup for aircraft reception, and not just some photos and everyone goes yeh yeah yeah, looky here.

I haven't read most of this thread. just have to say that the "cell phones don't work in planes" bit is bunk. There's a *ton* of info about it. They get used in private planes all the time, and they work fine. Google is your friend: http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS281&q=cell+phones+private+planes&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

Werner, the other pictures clearly showed cell only towers in the area.

And you have to know that a cell tower will have a radiating pattern that extends above horizontal as well. Just not as much as in the intended direction.

Again, why fake a few cell-phone calls when you could have just faked AirFone calls?

And you see from Forest's link, cell phones are used plenty in private aircraft and corporate jets.

My post about antennas and cell towers was just an information post using your link, ... not to try to discredit you.

Forest's google links do not provide full information on the state of the cell coverage systems during the 911 period in the actual area that United Airlines Flight 93 was in when the so called calls where made that are in question.

That would have to be factored into the investigation not that we say "Oh I make calls all the time from a plane".

My point is not to assert that it was not or is for possible for United Airlines Flight 93 to have had cell communication in that rural area, but to see what actual steps be need to factually determine it actually happened on that occasion.

It isn't about whether the technology is there or not at that time.

There are dead spots everywhere back then also.

It's far more important to look at the other documented discrepancies on the whole 911 thing. Focusing on the cell thing would be last on my list if I would be doing an independent investigation.

But people just like to throw a blanket and discredit anyone trying to dig deeper.

You'd be surprised what happened in YOSAR by certain individuals who really dug deeper and helped solve what was becoming a cold case.

All those retards that are always presenting their "Tin Foil hat bull$hit" are even worst then the disinformation spreading ass-holes.
