I got it now , Bob. The little tunnel in the left hand corner of the photo is actually a pedestrian walkway, though you probably wouldn't want to walk through it unarmed.
Anyway, on one trip to the Bowl to see Dylan himself, I sat with Rob Reiner and Dustin Hoffman and families.
I'm pretty sure one of them said "it's OK, but I like the old stuff better"
The 1965 HB (9-3-1965) show was tucked away for many years before becoming widely available.

I didn't go to the show, but knew it was recorded. Dude just didn't wnat to give it up.
The line-up
Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Al Kooper, and Harvey Brooks

Gonna let you down and leave you flat
Because I told you before, you can't climb that.
So, please listen to me if you want to stay mine
You're stuck at 5.8 and that's hard 5.9

So I've read and enjoyed,
to what I should respond to?
let's call it dig into or roll around in the sand with, I can't decide,?
The 1st out is most un - doubly the throw away , it was at the time as well.
I sat with the comic in his own mine Robert Klein. of my umpteen akio's this or that one,
I both, missed the call, I called as Women Smart Man smarter err error, Man Smart Women Smarter
and, I wanted to join in the joy, the boogey with, Sisters 'n brothers.
So I lept from my seat and over the rail to the floor section.
Two things( again, with the pairs ) the drops to the floor were nothing to me back then and
Robert Klien is an azz whole. Jerry side 1st orchestra, front (12) dozen rows in a stadium setting, some would call the best seats in the house. Given the.math in that ? Give or take?
at least that's what Klien said, I have my doubts.
(2nd) Second thing I did this jump to the floor at shows huge ( Carrier Dome, Syracuse )
And tiny ( Keen College Jerry /Robert Hunter Show.) I did not relinquish my paid for seat.
And had my ticket stub, and always had plans to return.
Where was I?. ...
Twill jump ahead, the song was Aiko not the other both rocking and common nothing new to a head. apparently , It was to the funny guy , whats-hisname, I've said.
So him and that entourage were 'sniffly' it was common back then. I not so much, it led to jonezing and a crash , I only partook socially, leaving more for the procurers of such party favors and hangers on. it wasn't a big deal to me especially when it was small coffin nails during a show. An Akio show usually had plenty of up, in between the more prevalent lull.
The thing about the floor was that I was well liked in the Tappers section. One of many reasons; for the way I blocked 'scruffers', who made a point for Low level Lee among others to try to disrupt, unplug or talk over , to ruin the tape of said show.
I was a low rider, oft unseen till said 'scruffer' had been taken out at the knees.
Of interest here is that Craig and Wagz, and Brian Too were more like brothers to me than any of the other tapers knew.
Christopher Wags.and I had gone to freshman & junior/senior year high school & been close charges of Happy Jack, a big brother of sort Fat HaPPY Jack Grossman In fact.( Read tons of travel 'n shows)
Brian and Craig ? well hmm, what can I say Craig was in deeper than anyone and tied-in to Betty and Bear. Brian his brother, and I went to a year of redo-school where we were the dependable good students, I was. So when Low level lee's stooges, who got to recognizing me, would put out the word that I had been spotted on the floor, and to dance me out of the Taper section. One of my boyz , I was their boy, but ya' know what Im meaning,. One of them all very In with Ram R or scully, would lay out a red carpet laced as it was with chicks by the dozen. An absolute Hallway of writhing Bump and grind with all five foot of me getting to ride the wave of bussoms and soft fleshy bits into the midst of the Tapers section this could take a whole song or more to be accomplished, the competition could get physical with me. But Low level lee was Hated By J,Dwork, (Unlimited Road,or whatever the hand out was called) so I had that avenue as well. This was all part of the game at shows . To try and get a higher quality tape than the next guy by crass sabotage. I was more of the defense, a blocker and stronger than anyone expected. Run into me and you hit the floor in a jumble of mike sticks cables and more, Your deck might just get Bumped by the prettiest girl ya' ever saw.
This, Then was when things got real - It was the deal. Can't say (now) But then I was proud of this in all the given frenzy, of the ensuing taper section drama..
The D5's , the decks, cost a bit, but were swapped and traded - stolen back and forth. Sometimes switched at moment of security lapse or the arrival of someone that had everyones respect. Remember the venue, a Dead show, not that any of this went on at more than slow motion, half a cid speed.

The banality, mediocrity of it all,
I'm as upset about a 3rd Or. 4th class Golden Eagle nesting Site. turned climb, in Boulder canyon,
called The Young & the Rackless-
It was un-reported/unclimbed till 2003, the description reads like a nesting site.
5.4-5.6 with a few reachy sections of vertical, sections that are hard if you're short.
I climbed some with Ivan Rezucha, it is his description,
( he was always thoughtful ~ he climbed a lot w/ short folks)
He calls it 5.9! Not even old school .9+
the thing has a gully walk off.
And it is an active nesting site.
I feel strongly that the gear anchors and all should be removed.
It could also be closed to climbing.
I would prefer it stay open as bold (or Trail a Cord solo ), 3rd class, climb though.

And the poet Po Lo askes, "Marco?"
http://www.shikarsafaris.com/en/marco-polo-argali-tajikistan
TRAVELS OF MOOSEPOLO
There are numbers of wild beasts of all sorts in this region.
And when you leave this little country, and ride three days north-east, always among mountains,
you get to such a height that 'tis said to be the highest place in the world!
And when you have got to this height you find [a great lake between two mountains, and out of it]
a fine river running through a plain clothed with the finest pasture in the world;
insomuch that a lean beast there will fatten to your heart's content in ten days.
There are great numbers of all kinds of wild beasts;
among others, wild sheep of great size, whose horns are good six palms in length.
From these horns the shepherds make great bowls to eat from,
and they use the horns also to enclose folds for their cattle at night. [Messer Marco was told also that the wolves were numerous, and killed many of those wild sheep.
Hence quantities of their horns and bones were found, and these were made into great heaps by the way-side,
in order to guide travellers when snow was on the ground.]
The plain is called PAMIER, and you ride across it for twelve days together,
finding nothing but a desert without habitations or any green thing,
so that travellers are obliged to carry with them whatever they have need of.
The region is so lofty and cold that you do not even see any birds flying.
And I must notice also that because of this great cold, fire does not burn so brightly,
nor give out so much heat as usual, nor does it cook food so effectually.
As to Gnome's noting that I was gone, albeit breifly, everyone's entitled to a day off from the grind, the mundane, the rut, the road most travelled, whether the road is the Silk Road, the Haute Route, or the voie normale.

I'm beginning to wonder whether this BJ idiot is a cop/dog killer.
According to a 2015 San Diego County Grand Jury report, 56 dogs were killed or injured in officer- and deputy-involved shootings across the county between 2010 and 2014. Twenty-two of those deaths occurred in the city of San Diego.
All "in fear for their lives", right.

What people won't do to dogs.
Shoot them. Run them to death. Starve them. And still they remain a friendly tribe to humanity.
I watched two Jesse Stone movies with Tom Selleck and the one we saw last night was a teary episode in which the Chief's bloodhound, Boomer, is put down because of renal failure (a common old-age canine affliction where the animal stops eating--it's particularly sad when the animal has an Abe Vigoda-like visage, so lugubrious and forlorn...)
