^^^ I love this photo.
And Mr. Ryuichi Yamamoto wins the Best Smile award, hands down.

Ed Hartouni ... thank you for welcoming me like a long lost friend. You give the best hugs!

Anastastia... We need to figure out our prior connection, because there is def something there. PS: I wanted to kiss your son's cheeks off. He melted my mommy heart.

Locker, you look so happy and peaceful with your beautiful daughter in your arms. Brought a tear to my eye.

Mister E and Skip... it was great climbing with you two. Thanks again for the encouragement as I got spanked by that route. That was one of my favorite days.
Jefe, thanks for leading me on my first trad climb. I did it!!

Lynne ... you sweet sweet heart. You were beaming at the party, and it was beautiful.

Todd Gordon... sweet dance moves.

;)

Boy, your buddy really liked those tacos Roots. I was telling him he may need a snow cone to rub his bum in the morning after all that guacamole sauce. Don't think I got to really meet you though. Did meet some other great people though. Mister E, Lynne, BluBlocr, Susan, 10b, Dee, PhilB. Many I did not get a chance to talk to, but at least said hi and was cool to be around so many climbing legends. Once again thanks for a great Memorial to everyone involved in the planning and execution, just got the Devils Tower pic in the mail yesterday, looking forward to making a cool frame for it. Mr Yamamoto was all smiles all night, very down to earth fellow indeed. Thanks for the props Lynne. Glad there were some mouths to feed later in the evening, guess that green salsa was a hit. :)

LOL! Yeah when he came over telling me about the hot sauce, I turned into a dad and cut him off. Told him he was going to be sorry later....and of course I was right.

In the morning while I was listening to complete silence (no birds singing), is when I heard the "her-her-hut-hut-yak" quite a few times. It made me smirk.

10b4me - Good to meet you too!

I gotta say, that was amazing. Susan and Russ, Blitzo's sister and Todd & wife ..epic work you guys!! I know I can speak for everyone when I say how thankful I am you put all that together. It's a lot of work and what an amazing turn out for our friend.

It was great to see so many of Blitzo's friends from all the ages of his life. I was able to meet so many of you I had spoken to outside of the taco and so many who donated to help Blitzo. Thank you for the support. It meant the world to him and to everyone who loved him.

As a military wife, I've been to too many funerals and memorials. But I have to say, I've never felt so much love and celebration and comraderie as I did at Blitzo's memorial.
You're an amazing group and I am humbled to have experienced this, sad and hard as it was. I feel thankful. I feel peace. I've learned a lot. And I am grateful to you all.

I promised Bill I'd take a bit of him to Alaska. We had talked about going there if he got better. He always wanted to see it. Mike and I will find a nice peak with a wildflower on top just for him.

Thank you folks. It's been an amazing journey.

It was great to meet Roots and The Agent, and really wanted to meet Adam and others. Just not enough time in the evening, dammit.

To The Agent,

Yep, Life is an Amazing Journey.

Looking up at a 4 foot wooden, carved gecko Dan and I discovered in Hawaii. Glad we took the time to live it.....Life, the Amazing Journey.

I'm still thinking about this great celebration of a man's life as Jaybro says. The link to the slide show is wonderful. Bringing home all that was shared in love and loss and true beauty in our world.

It was so full, so many friends I couldn't connect with everyone individually! Now that's a good Irish style wake, in my thinking. I really wanted to see Sonya but didn't even see her there at all. But I DID see about a dozen jewelry pieces of hers around the various necks! That was cool.

Thank you everyone. godspeed the Blitz
