Phylp, I am your Secret Santa. I knew you like good reds from your posts so I scored a good one. I hope the Zin is tasty, that's what I bought.

The wonderful wife of Black Goose Wines owner sent me the e-mails indicating that they were having problems delivering it for a couple of days. In those e-mails she indicated that she also enclosed a free bottle of their Chardonnay for tasting.

I have to give a shout-out to the personal attention that this fine (family-owned) winery gives to it's customers. I hope the wine is as good as their service. (I did a bit of research and the Zin should be pretty good).

Yippee! I couldn't wait any longer; today seemed like a great day to see what my STSS sent!

THANK YOU Mtnmun--what a beautiful cat! And being from the town of cats (ahem, IHP!) as well as a cat lover, it a perfect gift!

See for yourself:

Nice, nice, nice. Happy Holidays to you and to all!

Also, a very arty dreamcatcher, which has found a nice home on our wall:
And here's a nice holiday mug that will be used in the morning for tea:

Hey Hollyclimber - I hope you enjoy the very small selection of big wally gear I sent your way. From the looks of your pics, you will likely make good use of it as soon as conditions allow - enjoy! Who knows, maybe I will get motivated to get up on the Captain again and see you there. Cheers, Dave.

Yay H-glad you got your assortment-enjoy :-) Yes, I thought the zebra duct tape was a nice touch. This was the second application I have found for zebra duct tape... I'm always very pleased when it is able to make an appearance.

Have great holidays, H, and everyone!!! Love checkin' out this thread.

Everyone is getting really cool gifts-I'm liking them all-cool miniature climber, cat pics, dreamcatchers, climbing gear, wine, etc. My winter scene photo is looking perfect above the fireplace-thanks again, Fogarty!

I too am curious about what Weld-It got... guess this Weld-It person(a) has self discipline to wait til xmas, eh? And a very curious return address...

Me predicts a plethora of photo-laden postings portraying plunderous pillaging of presents, after this protracted period of premeditation; patience for the proper day being penultimate point!

Pitons...power cord...Petzl products...Pinot Noir...

hey there say, brass nuts.... ooooooooooooooopppps, you
NEED TO PULL DOWN the two tassles that are
STUCK ON THE ON THE OL'
DREAM CATCHER, :o

it will LOOK a whole LOT BETTER in the picture, :))
AND on the ol' wall, ;)

okay, now, let's see it without the "bad hair day"
from being boxed up, :))

uh, ur,, well, i mean without the "bad feather day"
:))

i so hoped you'd enjoy the brass nuts affect! :))
:)

ps:
the throw is a "fray-edge-quilt" so if it does need to
get washed--the washing and "must have" dryer CAUSE IT
FRAY MORE, for the "fraying affect"...

this was the first time i tackled one so the fraying
did NOT seem to work too good...
my friend DID let me borrow her dryer,
to help the fraying...
(SAID all this, so you won't be afraid that it is
breaking apart, without the finished seams), :))

Bluering, I'm so happy to find out that you are my Santa! It's especially fun because we both live here on the Peninsula and have yet to meet. Let's remedy that early in 2012 with a climbing party at PG Sunnyvale. I'm sure we can get Sullly and a few other folks to join us. I'll be in touch!

Wow, a big thanks to all of you for participating this year. It seems that everyone is giving and receiving very thoughtful and fun stuff.

Also a big thank you to everyone who ponied up to get me a thank you gift. I have a large-ish box, a smaller box and a UPS envelope to open on Christmas day thanks to you folks. It means a lot and again, thank you. Once I open them I will post up and let you guys know.

And just to check in, is there anyone who still has not received yet? I know of a couple people who are still awaiting packages (since their senders had to get addresses from me not too long ago) but at this point I think just about everyone should be good to go. Any problems, let me know...

Merry Christmas!

Melissa, I opened it and I LOVE it. Wish I were as talented. I took pictures but am having technical difficulties with the posting. I just have an older lap top and it only works when it feels like it. I'll keep trying. But in the meantime, MEGA thanks, Melissa and Feliz Navidad.

PS, colors and fit are great :D lynnie
