hey there say, mouse...
ahhh, the race-of-live... through our trails, flat and smooth, or rough and hard...
the things we see, the things we learn, the things we conquer...
humbles us, and amazes us...
like the climbers trail, to the top, through all kinds of weather,
and unseen upsets...
like the hikers awe, at the view, sunrises and sunsets...
and the hidden meadows and springs that appear...
yep, me, i NEED the help me jesus for sure...
and the beauty shines down, like after the storm clouds, that move aside,
when the SUN breaks through...
and the AIR is clear... :)

Stephen Dawkins calls God "the cosmic knob twiddler".
As far as skateboard history, the first time I saw a skateboard as a surfboard substitute must have been around 1961. You had to make them, cause as far as we knew you couldn't buy them. Two by fours, shag carpet and steel wheels.

My first skateboard was in 1959. It was a low-budget affair, no shag carpet.
Used to ride at the Junior High school in the evenings. Would be arrested there these days.
Even more interesting is that one can find photos of the place on the internet.
Floyd and Mr. P. even showed up one day. Wasn't 1959.

Tried to ride here once, but got arrested.
Of all the versions of my recorded songs, the Johnny Rivers one was my favorite. It was obvious that we were from the same side of town, had been read the same citations, came from the same musical family and were cut from the same cloth. When I listened to Johnny's version of "Positively 4th Street," I liked his version better than mine. I listened to it over and over again........When I heard Johnny sing my song, it was obvious that life had the same external grip on him as it did on me.

Another Side of Johnny Rivers
Johnny Rivers once said, "of all the renditions of Bob's song +4St., I always liked Lucinda Williams best, but I don't mean that, good luck."
Johnny got a bit touchy in his "middle" years, not out of kindness I suppose, but more from lack of well-deserved recognition.

More info on turmeric for those interested. I have a friend who is an Ayurvedic healer, and started making golden milk laced with ghee for me right after my spine surgery. The doctors asked me what I was doing, because I exceeded their recovery expectations.
If anyone is interested, there is lots of info on Ayurvedic healing, a 5,000 year tradition of healing.
Here is a nice overview.
Enjoying all the music here. :) And of course the clowns. All sorts of clowns, clowning around, round tuits, etc.

I have in mind the picture of a young lady climbing nye upside down with only one shoe on , the bare foot front and center and the other stuffed almost out of sight, it is a photo I had an original print of. . . . .
I will look or scan it if it is in an old magazine.
Coming soon;
A Hillside of Faces, each on on a different rock some with multiple faces some
Just one large head. Skulls, zombies and a sleeping gorilla ?
Ya' all can add what it s that you see.
It is a haunted hillside that gives cold chills & the tingles when soloing alone. . .
