Hey, climbing content is not appreciated. I know.
You don't come here for it, do you?
Bull.
More of it here than on lots of other places.

How does stuff get from here to there. Part 1. O-Tay!
The Dulzura Conduit is a 13-mile-long aqueduct beginning at Lake Barrett, mostly concrete-lined but partly flumes, pipelines, and tunnels. Passing through remote and rugged terrain the Conduit diverts water west to Dulzura Creek leading to the Otay River. The water then flows through the river channel into the Lower Otay Reservoir.

Yeah but that's like the chicken without the egg isn't it? O-Tay{2}!!
Morena Reservoir is located in East County about 45 miles from San Diego, near Campo. Water released from Morena flows down Hauser Canyon and into Barrett Reservoir.
Yeah, but from whence the water in Morena? O-Tay{∞}!{∞}

Listen up. A flow chart from a Cal-grad of flumes on The Flames.
He secretly belonged to the fraternity Sigma Otay Sigma.
At their secret UNDERBROWNED meetings, he sat in the very front row, went with the flow, dontcha know?
I heard that via the Grapevine.
I remember it well, because we were listening to Twine Time at the time.[Click to View YouTube Video]
I know this great song from the only day I ever played (seriously) hookie from dear old MHS in 1966. Mickey Padilla and I hopped into his Karman-Ghia and went to the pool hall, then located across from the Merced Theater on The Main Drag. I played this several times in between racking the balls.
I could not beat the Mick, try as I would. He is the one who informed my mom that she was "Mrs. Mouse," because he had just met me on that day in 1961, a day after my nickname had been installed.

Cambridge, St. John's College, 1940.
The True Last Bastion of Civility and Culture.
Following the February, 1942, capture of Singapore, I think things got less idyllic for many of these gents and ladies.
The climbing content begins after 14:00.

I would love to see comments from General S.P.R. Taco.
And the Japs thought they had it going on with their bowing and the tea serving routine--I guess we showed them.

Ronnie's birthday was earlier this month. He is not included in the memorializing of Presidents for good reason.
This is subject to change.
Nothing is written in the stars.
Totally whitebread.

We're Going to Disney World
Starry-eyed kids from out of town
Flocking to Hollywood
Finding a gig that pays the rent down
Even if one was some handsome clown
Matinee idols from the West Coast
Elected to Washington
Of stars and jelly beans each does boast
The way to get things done
Ronald "Rong" Reagan
Nancy "Drew" Reagan
I went to sleep and when I woke up they were heroic for having preserved us from the Russkis and Chinese.
As if he were some master strategist.
As if the stars can guide us.

America, how blind can you be?
The media twist you like old plastic bags.
There is little I can add to their "legacy."
The truth is not out there and never has been.
White lies become yellow journalism and turn into dark ones.
No light shines in the political wilderness ever.
It's all mirrors and distorted images.
It's a darkroom out there.
The last political pundit will still point to their achievement.
Then he's gonna die and go straight to a re-education center.

I would start a sunrise photo thread
But you all seem to lay in bed
When Sol comes knocking on your windows.
It's hard to sleep
It makes me weep
And so I look for the dawn, which glows.
Shirt tail calculating, including the leap years.

Best I can do this morning.

Interesting that the shadowy figure on the left appears to be holding the camera - No?
You're in the wrong place my friend, (perhaps) you better leave
The rather large one on the right, while neither illegal nor a smuggler was rolling after me like I was Indiana Jones.
