We sometimes forget how easy it is to inspire greatness in others.
Peace - Love
When I saw this I nearly broke down crying. For only a moment they were without a trouble, and it is as real to them as everday life.
Be well everyone

Urban skiing in Detroit.
I prefer powder and backcountry, but admire these skills, not to mention unique location!
Beacons not required.

Sure do, DMT!
Filmed in the Kootenays... Trail, Nelson. I'm from B.C. originally.
I like the Detroit video way more. The Kootenay piece seemed contrived to me, because there is world class skiing just a few miles away. Not so much in Detroit :)
edit - Though as a kid growing up in BC, i would've been stoked to have had the concept of riding rails and making use of what we had in town. Instead, we tried to skied sagebrush covered hillsides with a foot of snow, chip piles at the sawmill, and practiced late '70s freestyle ballet on the grass in the backyard.
some of the tricks in the vdo are powered by towline "catapult" launcher. What kids can save up for nowadays... Commercially avail. for about US$5k.
watching this again... I'd rather ski the Kootenay streets than Detroit .
