Nametags, as silly as it may seem, might be really fun.
I'll pick up a stack of 'em & a marker.
At 10am, at the warm up boulders, those who want to slap an id on their chest will have an opportunity. (plus a spare maybe, they prolly won't stay stuck all day)
I'll also keep extras with me throughout the day, for those who are stragglin'.
(I'm the guy wearing a cowboy hat, somewhere in the boulders).
BVB: PLEASE POST UP A MAP TO THE WARM UP BOULDERS & BASIC HIGHWAY LOCATER.

You'll recognize me, I'm the one who just can't help but put Satan on his nametag everytime.
Sorry Munge, but that pic back there of BVB in hairfarmer mode on the thin thin crack is actually Deerhorn Valley, not Woodson. Similar stone, but no one's gonna get on that problem that day.

kewl, thx fer the correct. I was posting from 0friction, by category and going for shotgun effect late in the evening...
btw, "rootin', tootin'" was outlawed in Oceanside, Woodson and Escondido by local ordinances in the late 80s, early 90s.
I'll think about wearing my female body inspector hat.

Rumor has it that Christian Griffith might show-up again ala '90s Woodson contest fashion in a thong. I don't know. Just saying.
(What a kidder)

The route that bvb's? on used to be called Goeddel's Move - it was more or less the standard 5.9 face climb for us back in the earliest '70s.
I like this other (unnamed 5.11 route) on Painted Boulder as well.

too bad
Drivin' South
is so hard to photograph -
I bet someone standing a little way's back, either on a ladder or w/ camera on a small boom could do it justice
