ditto -- so similar, that I half expected there to be a monkey in your picture. just curious: did you recognize the similarity when taking the picture or afterwords? either way, very cool!
Edit: ok, looking at it again, it's staged, right?!?

Kind of a self depricating pic of me after a nap on the desert floor with my pup.

After shooting the nutcracker for four days in a row, I had the waltz of the flowers stuck in my head til tonight. Haven't really finished going through them yet, but here are a few from Friday night...

(First time trying to post photos; hope this works. If not, what's the trick?)
Inspecting the rack a few weeks back, I thought these biners looked unsettlingly odd:

Speaking of Wyoming, cowpoke, have you read The Cold Dish or Death without Company?
A nostalgic odd photo from Wyoming, 1974:

The megabreccia in Titus Canyon AND the Vortex in Tuolumne (Jay Wood polished granite photo in post #154)… Wow! Good stuff! We’ve been racking our brains for years trying to figure out what the heck is going on with the Vortex. Jay, how’d you manage to stumble across that jem?
Great photos here! Chiloe, I especially like your first “titanium” pic – way cool! I’ll have to dig some up…
