The Black and the Gunks are ironically my two last big NA destinations I haven't visited .
Can't wait .

Do it, you won't be disappointed. The Gunks is still my favorite climbing area in the US.

All of this talk about facts reminds me of something.

I have a half-sister. She is left of Bernie Sanders. We love each other, being family and knowing what's important. This enables us to talk politics without animosity. One day she said to me "I don't understand how we can have such different points of view when we are looking at the same set of facts". I was taken aback by this question, coming from someone as smart as she is. The answer is obvious.

For example, an issue as complicated as Clinton's role in Benghazi carries with it a multitude of facts. An intellectually honest person puts facts first, and forms their opinion based on those facts which align with their values. An intellectually dishonest person cherry picks the facts which support their pre-determined view of things. No one arrives at a conclusion based on all of the facts.

To paraphrase Orwell, to each of us some facts are more factual than others.

"It's my opinion ..
I like real climbing -not clipping bolts .. Just my opinion
Anybody can clip bolts."

Not true and not true that anyone can climb free past them.

Rock is rock, climbing rock is all good, sport, trad, big wall and bouldering.

If you go to the Gunks bring your A game, the routes are serious and tons of fun.

Beautiful children Riley.

Yes it is to each his own, I welcome Norton, Crankster, the Duck, Cragman and others whether they climb or not.

My family comes first and always has, climbing has been fun but nothing compared to the love and happiness of being with my family.

My two boys and me on the Monarch Crest Trail in Colorado a few years back.

Same to you Riley, they really grow up so fast, I really miss all the wonderful times my wife and I had with them growing up, we didn't have a lot of money (my wife stayed at home) but we really had wonderful times together.

This is my son Adam in Puyo, Ecuador a few years back on one our trips together.

Man, this shyte sure degenerates quickly. What's with all the personal attacks? Some people maybe feeling threatened much? Maybe some growing up is needed here. I understand why the political threads are vanishing so quickly - because they probably should when they degenerate like this. Three or four posters hitting each other over the head gets boring.

I'm getting a little bored of all the troll leg humping.

and yes, we are all so called "Marxists" by some loons

Mind bubble, they have no idea, no empathy, no desire to see what's outside their mind bubble

but I may have to delete this as well, it depends on what the troll follows with

troll the troll,

how many times?

actually there has some "small" improvement in the troll's posting style.
It's all about keeping "It NOT Personal"
make your comments w/o using ANY PERSONS Name,
can you see the logic of this?
You PISS People OFF when you direct some BS or not BS about them, it doesn't matter

so far, you have pissed off many people here.
If that's your goal, you win

if you want to be a community member, learn to be respectful
and don't make it personal

and Expect to see edits galore after the fact

No one believes any of the crap above except Right Wing Bubble people

--the establishment of a Socialist "utopia" (a.k.a. a global nanny state)
--"benevolent" totalitarian control of the world's population through any means necessary
--ever increasing government micromanagement of private enterprise (a.k.a. clueless meddling)
--the adoption of laws, treaties and tax regulations that hinder America's competitiveness
--the usurpation of the legislative process, at all levels, through judicial fiat
--the promotion of the tyranny of the minority
--the filing of specious law suits to shakedown corporations for cash (under the guise of "social responsibility")
--the disproportionate taxation of citizens "who have more money than they need"
--the redistribution of wealth from producers to non-producers (under the guise of "fairness")
--the banning and confiscation of all privately owned guns (even though it has lead to genocide)
--the abolition of all private property rights
--the destruction of all national sovereignty (America first, of course)
--the destruction of Capitalism
--the establishment of one religion (with no personal accountability), OR the abolition of all religion
--the appeasement of Islamic radicals
--the regulation, or banning, of all opposition media (under the guise of "fairness")
--the appeasement of Communist dictators and their American front groups
--the further insertion of Socialist ideology and indoctrination into public school curricula
--the purposeful "dumbing down" of the masses through inane public school curricula and pedagogy
--mass thought control through "speech codes" and political correctness.

I don't even want to start, but anyone could go from point to point and prove your claim to be BS

Zero creditability on the facts, pure right wing ideological BS

No America liberal, progressive or Democrat here would agree with you on any of it. ZERO

It's like a child writing to Rush Limbaugh,
"Did I do good Rush?, Did I??"

and of course, I could do your point to point and directly pin blame on the right wingers in office that were responsible for implementing the thing you hate.
We will do a reverse list soon.

Don't forget to believe these credible links that were posted as part of a libtard rant

The answer is that to President Obama this is still not fair because he is a Marxist. To a Marxist, the fact that the top 1% earn more income than the bottom 99% is not fair, no matter how they earn it, fairly or not. So it is not fair unless more is taken from the top 1% until they are left only with what they “need,” as in any true communist system. Paying anything less is not their “fair” share. That is the only logical explanation of President Obama’s rhetoric, and it is 100% consistent with his own published background.

Notice that Obama keeps saying that “the rich,” a crass term implying low class social envy, don’t “need” the Bush tax cuts. That is reminiscent of the fundamental Marxist principle, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need
http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/12/20/is-president-obama-really-a-socialist-lets-analyze-obamanomics/#40c9f8986a11

see, that link proves it !!!11111
Obama is a Marxist,
The dems are marxists
all liberals that want fair taxation are Marxists!!!

Tax the rich, that's Marxism at it's core!

Pure capitalism would dictate that the rich should pay zero taxes, right?
since they we need the trickle down'
