^^^ On a run above ABQ I saw two camo clad bow hunters exiting the city limits just as I was. I proceeded uphill considerably faster than them and, if I do say so, I did a credible job of shooing a number of deer further uphill. WOOT!

BTW, Hoobs, on this road trip I've decided WA drivers are worse than OR drivers, hard as that may be to imagine.

I've always had an abiding hatred for "goat-heads," those creeping, sneaky vines whose caltrop-shaped burrs embed themselves in your bike tires, find their way in to the floor mats of your vehicle, and cost you time by having to remove them from the soles of your shoes.

In a class with tar on the beach.

Known associate of the verges of dirt roads and bike paths across the country and around the world: Tribulus terrestris.

Pow Pow! All day all night....

Safe and sound all the way.

But next time the mechanic makes note that some fuse, wire, or part 'somehow' got loose from it's seating, I'll be remembering that road...and all the others like it!

Best moments are when we go over a particularly jouncy section of road and all the dashboard lights go dark.

LOL!

One of the best camping spots ever!!!!

Cheers

So I may be missing the guidelines for the posts- I'll go back and add captions to locate the photos- meant to do that anyway. All of those I think are in Iceland.

Oh no worries- I think it's interesting to see where people took photos, too- especially if I want to go there ;-)
