Norm Miller is an airline pilot for American Airlines....lives in Dallas, and climbs every now and again.....he has done the royal arches WITH the rotten log......Sept., 1977.....so he's been around for awhile....

Dr. Sprock, Gram Parsons died in Rm. #8, Joshua Tree Inn. Was always a big fan of his, and played the annual festival there commemorating him. If you ever get a chance look up Grand Theft Parsons...It's a trippy film...

Bought tickets and made preservations today. I'll be there from the evening of the 22nd (Thursday) through to Tuesday morning (27th). Looking for climbing partners for Friday, Sunday and Monday, and Saturday morning. (I volunteered to help as needed Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday morning.) I'll have transport, but quite limited internet, and no cell phone.
