I don't know if he's really a sandbagger. If you look closely at all the pictures Powell has taken of henny, you will be able to tell KP is really good at photoshop. hahaha

Mostly it's just about getting out, and doing whatever you can. The smack talk is fun though.

Bedford...don't make me do it...

Hey Reign 1, this birdie called me tonight and suggested I visit this thread. And oh how glad I am that I did-I fired up the computer (think Photoshop time) searched the memrobilia box and created, well the composite image that you see below. Yes, the very shoes that sent 5.10a On The Outside and Slap You Silly on their very first try. Oh how humble I am.

See Henny, If dimes was able to do slap you silly in those clapped out track shoes, it has to only be rated 11.b or maybe 10.c. I did 10.a on the outside in my lava domes.
I did a steep climb you are meeting me at in my asics without the cheating rubber that Dimes had to use.
You poor guys must have bumped your heads way to many times. haha

After reading the last handful of posts a few things are pretty obvious.

Nobody should be wearing anything but tennis shoes at the shindig.
It's a good thing the shindig doesn't happen till late March, cause it appears some people are going to need every minute till then to work on their smack talk.

Starving in Stereo was mentioned upstream. Who put that problem up?
Edit: and if someone has pictures of it - post 'em up.

Henny, You and powell should maybe think about concentrating on to first two small boulders at the bottom and then attempt the hike up to painted boulder and camp there all weekend. I'm sure those beginner boulders will give you two a challenge for a few days. As far as shoes go, I just might have to sport my tennis shoes because I don't think my fat size 11 feet will fit into those size 8 shoes anymore. haha
I guess we'll see what skillz you still have on sunday. Don't worry about me. I don't have any skills and never did! Man,sure wish I had some photos of me hauling you up all those steep routes in the 90's. hahaha

Starving is on the right, visible from the swithchback just past Big Grunt. I think I pointed it out to you last weekend. I went chopping around there a couple of weeks ago but have yet to get on it. Here is a picture I found on rockclimbing.com
