Yeah, things that make you go Hmmm.
Snowden had to run--he'd seen what happens to folks who rub the Gov't fur the wrong way. He threw away a pretty lavish lifestyle to do what he did.
Traitor or Patriot? I wonder what John Adams would think.

So taxes aren't on any else's Patriotic qualification list.
Not sure why, everyone seems to make it about volunteering for service, but most of these people volunteer because they have no near term future, not out of patriotism.
My system is a simple scale, The more you pay of your fair share, the more patriotic you are.
The harder you try to avoid paying your fair share the less patriotic you are.
Mitt Romney would be classified as Very Unpatriotic, putting his money in offshore banks, getting paid in capital gains rather than salary, etc.
These people are so Unpatriotic that they pay Yuge amounts of money in consulting costs and lawyers just so can pay less to the Government.
Voting for low taxes for the rich is a sign of being unpatriotic.
Every penny you divert away from going to the Gov. is one tiny bit of Patriotic betrayal.
Everyone wants to pay the least in taxes, but how far should you go?
You go to your patriotism level, high or low.
So in conclusion, almost every right winger is very unpatriotic and their values are seriously compromised.

Patriots can only be forged in the crucible of combat. We welcome our inevitable coup and return to the worship of Odin.

I can't stand it when folks resort to 'patriotism' as a political ploy. They can go f*#k themselves
Hey now. If you don't let folks resort to 'patriotism' just where do you expect scoundrels to go for their last refuge?

and TAXES are enough of a reason to "EARN" that right IMO...
Well, it's just my opinion, but I like what Israel and Switzerland do. It doesn't have to be military.
With 40 some percent not paying income tax and if only taxpayers vote it sounds like the 18th century.
I know that's not what you meant, but some kind of "Ask not what your country can do for you..." would put us all in the same boat.
Great divide in this country now.
Both sides responsible for that.

ON MARCH 9, TRUMP BROUGHT HIS NUREMBERG RALLY SHOW TO NORTH CAROLINA
A PROTESTER WAS ATTACKED WHILE IN THE CUSTODY OF TRUMP'S SECURITY TEAM
IN THE ONLINE VIDEO, YOU CAN SEE TRUMP'S SECURITY TEAM IS WEARING BROWN SHIRTS
A Trump protester was attacked while being escorted out by Trump's security staff, ostensibly local Sheriff's Deputies. While the protester was held and restrained in police custody, one of Trump's supporters strode forth and physically attacked the protester.
The deputies then threw the protester to the ground, and wrenched his arms behind his back. The deputies made no effort to protect the protester from the assailant, and they made no effort to apprehend the assailant.
The incident, reminiscent of Hitler's political rallies, was captured on video by numerous bystanders and posted to the internet.
Sean Swain, a spokesman for the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department had this to say:
“People here in Cumberland Country realize what this sheriff does, and they didn’t have a complaint about what happened last night.”
Trump Rally Protester Is Attacked While In Police Custody
EDIT:
Violence by Trump's Campaign Staff Includes Assaulting News Reporters
This related story tells how Trump's campaign manager assaulted a female news reporter, who had approached Trump at a rally to ask him a question.
Not surprisingly, Trump's team responded by denying the incident ever took place, and they even went so far as to say that it had "only" been reported in the media, and had never been "officially" recognized as having happened by Trump's staff.
Trump and his campaign staff believe that if they don't officially recognize a particular event, then that event never took place, regardless of evidence and witnesses to the contrary.
Trump has denied many things, including himself on video tape, yet he persists in the belief that his denials somehow, magically, override reality.
That is exactly what George Orwell wrote about, with respect to suppression of facts and distortion of reality by corrupt leaders. In 1984, the government uses the method of "Double-Think" to subdue and suppress the people. The method involves forcing people to hold two, mutually contradictory thoughts at the same time:
A video tape shows Trump at a rally, ridiculing a disabled reporter.
Trump says he never ridiculed a disabled reporter.
A female reporter is assaulted by Trump's campaign manager, and is left with bruises.
The campaign manager says the incident never occurred.
The Trump 2016 Nuremberg show is only going to get uglier and bloodier, because his supporters and staff are like the SA goons that Hitler employed to terrorize his detractors.
Trump's idea of ethnic cleansing may only involve forcible relocation of 10 million people, and not gas-chamber genocide, but Trump is still very much like Hitler.
And his supporters are very much like the SS, Schutzstaffel, "protection squadron".

"We have an "A" from the Better Business Bureau. People like it," Trump said during the Republican presidential debate last week.
"During the period when Trump University appeared to be active in the marketplace, BBB received multiple customer complaints about this business,” the New York area BBB and its national headquarters said in a statement released today. "These complaints affected the Trump University BBB rating, which was as low as D- in 2010," the statement said.
"As the company appeared to be winding down, after 2013, no new complaints were reported. Complaints over three years old automatically rolled off of the Business Review, according to BBB policy. As a result, over time, Trump University’s BBB rating went to an A in July 2014 and then to an A+ in January 2015.”

Getting thrown in jail for refusing to serve in an unjust war, I think that's just as patriotic as dropping an H-bomb on somebody's head.
"I'm as patriotic as the next guy, it's just that I've never worn red, white and blue very well."

My prediction
The GOP will try to nominate Cruz,
or have a crazy brokered Convention and all chaos will ensue
maybe Kasich will come out of it, maybe someone else...(JEB, Lying Ryan)
Rubio is out
You have to have a certain number of delegates, if you don't have them, it's going down to Brokered

Trump will have more than enough delegates.
They would have to renege on their pledge to vote for
him on the first ballot, highly unlikely.
No brokered convention, it's Donald vs Hillary
Hillary wins by over 5 million popular and over 80 Electoral Votes.
And church will be out.

I'm wondering what happens if they broker Trump out of the GOP.
Will he go third rail?
And church will be out.
Look out, when those randy Trump supporters get beat, the fireworks will certainly fly.

Define patriot: a person who loves and strongly supports or fights for his or her country.
People may have other definitions but I always thought of a patriot as someone who loves their country. I think you have the right to define yourself as a patriot on not depending on your definition. It bugs me when people presume to tell someone they are something or not based on their definition. Like people telling Mormons they aren't Christian. They believe in Christ, they believe they're Christian, end of story.
The lame dude sucker punching the black guy at the Trump rally just motivated thousands more black people to go to the poles and vote for Hillary. Not sure that's what he had in mind but that'll be the result. Idiot.

Yeah well.... He's also motivated angry Trumpers to start brawling at rallies in hopes to get their 15 minutes of fame.
My FB feed says Ben Carson is expected to endorse Trump, from the Maragogo.
I had a thought, with these endorsements - wonder if they're getting offers they can't refuse from Trumps old mafia goons.
