To me, making a tape is like writing a letter—there's a lot of erasing and rethinking and starting again. A good compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do. You've got to kick off with a corker, to hold the attention (I started with "Got to Get You Off My Mind", but then realized that she might not get any further than track one, side one if I delivered what she wanted straightaway, so I buried it in the middle of side two), and then you've got to up it a notch, or cool it a notch, and you can't have white music and black music together, unless the white music sounds like black music, and you can't have two tracks by the same artist side by side, unless you've done the whole thing in pairs and...oh, there are loads of rules.

Climbing was not a royal sport in England.
Surfing was a royal sport in Hawaii.
“A Royal Sport” is a chapter in London’s 1911 book, The Cruise of the Snark and was first published in 1907 in The Lady’s Home Companion.

Anyway, to get back off track. I can't believe that the zone outside of Cody's books became drug free. Even harder to handle is that Cody's became gone. Used to practice my German skills by getting loaded and 'reading' Der Spiegel at Cody's. Funny, I can't remember any of it. Be all that as it may, had anyone on this thread studied as hard as I did, they would know that Che pioneered Da Brim long before the Bryan Family was a twinkle in the eye of Papa Bryan.

Stop sending American jobs to Argentina and Nepal, wear Da Brim proudly and support Da USA.

Staying low is important as the corner that you turn, that is out of sight,
coming toward the diamond shaped block before and below the bushes,
and the tilted blocks ,
is where the traverse ends in a smash and swim or a short easy climb up,
,

I
Thought better of it
but here :

I have seen my future,

Driven by the extremes of lifes' response to simple hart. . .
I choose to arm myself , to the teeth , more is almost always better
If a move is called for - here is the man to help make it happen.

Much respect for sharing this & embracing your individual self,

Amazingly person, still strong and free, an echo from the past

Get some - indeed,
seems I have a long lost older brother
I am not anti gun and pro hunting in its proper way and place

But
Hunting off your suburban roof?
I have a neighbor problem the guy is a weeny he hunts the suburban streets, the backyards,
Goes all camo then uses camera, lights, bait, salt licks, builds berms of cut brush to funnel deer into his and my back yard and wants written permission to use a hand gun to
Cap his misses on any and all adjacent properties. Instead of calling him on this crap
(If he could afford to buy the open space, how did he do that?he could ruin me too so)
I keep away from the bish, keep the kids out of the woods and walk the dog in a different direction
this It shames me to say....

I should hang a picture or two of my Uncle Ron
instead of no trespassing / hunting & private property signs.

"The most misread poem in America?"

How did this happen?

http://www.theparisreview.org/blog/2015/09/11/the-most-misread-poem-in-america/

The poem isn’t a salute to can-do individualism; it’s a commentary on the self-deception we practice when constructing the story of our own lives.
“The Road Not Taken” may be...“the best example in all of American poetry of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
But we could go further: It may be the best example in all of American culture of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

"I know what I herd."--the sheep dog

"baa...yer full of sheep dip."--Belle Wether

#3?

Funny thing.

Micro didn't seem to realize that posts are actually 10,000 or so even without the imposter thread.

Proud numbers,
never liked chasing grades or numbers,
if it looked like I could climb as far as I could see I went up as high as I could.
I liked to get to the top for sure.

Imposter thread?
I'm more partial to the idea that it was a
Pregnant Fart thread , imposter thread implies something fake
I was just carrying the embers forward toward a pile of magnesium.

He doesn't jump, to bad.

Leaping off of things to approximate flight ?
Flying when there is a glide ratio?
That translates to falling out of the sky.
