Bus ride up the valley.

Meet-up at the good old Redding bust depot.

I'll likely just be sitting, waiting, waiting, waiting...working on my laptop...
or playing one of the machines in the arcade,
preferably the one they had in the lobby in the fifties that I got good on,
but that's not too likely.

Say around the first week in February. We can find sumthin' to do fun if the weather's not stable.

Flame on, my esteemed fraternizer, Mr. T.

O! silly civility
My country tis of thee
So gimme five

Land where our fathers lied
All night longthey cried
A horse on you

Rolling the dice they played
Coming home they delayed
The Boss got vexed

Ship, captain, crew went down
No more nights on the town
We shore screw up

But there's the Nalgene, son,
Let's have another one
I'm awful dry
Do you know cribbage?
One refusal?

What say?

I propose the thurs or fri of that week, the 6th or 7th, crag on sat, we can talk about where to go, as in Pig Bird Cliffs.

FA's and the 2nd ascent of a Robbins,
Fitschen,Roper route at Pigeon Cliffs.

email me with the decision.

Here is where we break to dance break-style like the USA.

I'm trying to thinking fast, as they might could say in Asian-born English.

Shut my mouth.

What they say here
when dancing crafters come a-commenting
on the conditions of their loved daddies
I dont know, to tell the truth.

I'm glad you did and thanks for that update.

I'm jabbering, but I'm also bereft of words at your trial, neebee.

Less said is enough said.

More is less, er, the opposite.

Or the reverse?

Let's ask Bud. Better yet, let's ask a Sherpa.

I'm not intentionally making a pun on your dad's trake, is it? Not at all!!

I know, "Cheer up! Hear is a poem to be here for you on behave yourself."

Maria Spratford
“A Dancer’s Prayer”

Dear Angel, ever at my side.
Be there today, my feet to guide.
Help me dance high, and light, and free,
So everyone will be proud of me.
May the judges be fair and the stages be spacious.
In winning and losing, let me be gracious,
So that every dance I'll remember with pride.
And angel, please keep my shoelaces tied!

I'm still tongue-tied, myself.

Fate is fickle-fingered. It is also fickle-toed, speaking of climbing shoes.

Toe-jam football comes to mind...are ya ready?

BROMIDROSIS or stinkfoot
Frank Zappa Y los Madres

In the dark
Where all the fevers grow
Under the water
(Water)
Where the shark bubbles blow
In the mornin'
(Mornin')
By yer radio
(Radio!)
Do the walls close in t'suffocate ya
You ain't got no friends . . .
An' all the others: they hate ya
Does the life you been leadin' gotta go?
Well, let me straighten you out
About a little Russian restaurant I know . . .
(Get yer shoes 'n socks on people, it's right aroun' the corner!)

Out through the night
An' the whisperin' breezes
To the place where they keep
The Imaginary Diseases

Out through the night
An' the whisperin' breezes
To the place where they keep
The Imaginary Diseases . . .

Now scientists call this disease Bromidrosis
(That's right!)
And well they should
Even Napoleon knows that
But us regular folks
Who might wear a tennis shoe
Or an occasional python boot
Know this exquisite little inconvenience by the name of:
STINK FOOT

Y'know, my python boot is too tight
I couldn't get it off last night
A week went by, an' now it's July
I finally got it off
An' my girl-friend cry
"You got STINK FOOT! STINK FOOT, darlin'
Your STINK FOOT puts a hurt on my nose!
STINK FOOT! STINK FOOT! I ain't lyin',
Can you rinse it off, d'you suppose?"

Here Fido . . . Fido . . .
Here Fido . . . bring the slippers little puppy
Yes, that's a good dog! Yes!
"Arf, arf, arf!"
[crash-crumble-bump-bump-bump]
Sick . . .

And now, ladies and gentlemen,
We have a song for you about flying saucers
This song is going to be sung for you by George
And the name of the song is Inca Roads

The point here is this: some things never are understood, only a nodding acquaintance is really necessary in most situations, but this is vastly interesting to climbers and it ought to be understood that not all are created more equal than others when it comes to climbing and throwing hardballs and swimming and in reaching for a brass ring on a carousel.

I'm jabbering like a macaque with a little baby...

Lake Tahoe 1950s
Had a "night club"

They engaged a babysitter
who skeezed all winter
and played and sat

in the off-season.
She was named Betty.

And Scout's honor, I left my cell at home.
What's a kibo?

It's my pleasure to welcome you to what may well be the best experience of your week, and I'm so glad you could attend the campfire, sponsored by
Glad Sandwich Bags (baggies, man):
by The Cream Society of Merced;
and by Martha Stewart's Living the Dream, a feature-length commercial, coming soon.

I'm Mouse, a member of the Low-Rider Patrol, Campo Quatro.

As part of my Errit Badger* series of lectures on how to grow the heck up in Merced, here is my latest offering.

I am doing this series as a public service project to enhance the Taco and to earn my Eagle Scout badge.

A little background on old Errit Badger would be in order here. Errtit slipped on Michael's Ledge and had tied in with a slip knot. We all think it might have gone down to his being in the can that day the guys tipped the kibo, but Errit was a daisy and a huckleberry, too, so...

Who is Mount Baden-Powell's namesake?
Y is it 4-H and where's THEIR camp?
What did you guys think of Mirror Lake? Reflect on that during the hike back to camp.
Where is the other half of yur butt?
What is Scout Juice?

Oween Wilson, farts and all.
Campfires, capers, bugle calls.
Camp Rakhouta's kibo falls.
Everyone is growing balls.

Love of nature had its roots
Back in Scouting,, we had some hoots.
We were honest, reckless youths.
Clean and revern't to our boots.

We were headed to Campo Quatro,
The Flames Patrol of the FlameDragons Troop.
We were full of energy and cum
And also had to poop.

*For the ones who'd like to dim the Flames, the word "errit" is from Basque and means "rate." As in grade. As in Eagle grade, class, rate, rank. I know some things. Keep lookin' at me.

One more for Skip, JustTheMaid. From Middle Earth to Canoga Park,
The little dog laughs when he should bark.
The guy's a UC dog and frankly, who knows where they get this stuff, but that's didactic learning at it's most basic. It's just as likely he got it off the internet, though. Low companions and high alcohol content.
