It’s the shank of the evening! But when is that, exactly?
This phrase typically suggests that the night is far from over,
shank being an old word for something straight,
or the tail end of something.
But as the Dictionary of American Regional English notes,
in the South, evening is considered “the time between late afternoon and dusk.”
It's full dark here, but I feel light headed.

Sun of Ray on a stick.He loved these melon balls de saucisse on a steek. When Martha S came here during the holidays, this is what I served and she raised her eyebrows. She actually burped!
Now that the holidays are long past, speaking of them, the cookie mice are nice and secure and not liable to get into mischief--they even tried ot ransom Melanie, the ding-a-lings. BUT, I regret to say, Lilabiene and THE Muppet have made their escape, their "bird," and have flown the coop.
We are waiting and waiting and waiting, but no word, no clue, nada.
So I had to build a better mouse trap, and now I have space for that nice window seat that Martha suggested.
So last night's freaky dream was totally black. I remember nothing. I slept for A CHANGE on the top bunk, on a thick foam pad that I kept from the car, where it was used on road trips. I also slept beneathe the Queen's HandieWork, this expensive and delicate and bright dreamcatcher.
Taken from the rear of Red Roadent and placed high above my bunkbed,
at least two feet higher than the top bunk, in the rarefied and warm air.
There, pix dust condenses thought around each particle, they get heavy, and fall--
somewhere over the bunkbed
which is protected
from badness
and madness
and contributes to all
by making my head rest.
O! no
more for us wakefulness,
the blest feathery caress of a vamp named seeleene,
AKA HandMade Goodness.
It was magic like you don't expect:

You wouldn;t have thought he was Mexican, necessarily, but he's from Dember. In the book, Centennial by Michener, chicano workers come to harvest beets and they stay in "Dember," some of them, forsaking Mexico, becoming low-riders and rock climbers.

based on Talmudic references, the only ones I have available.
I could essay a pun on why I was robbed, but they'd run me out of El Taco on a stick.The band is the work of the writer of the group, RC, who told me that he doesn't write "songs" so much as he scores music.
This would make it like the Mahavishnu, only with local talent playing under the name of Ahwahnichi. I've not heard them, they played last Saturday, the night of the Merced Art Hop, and I may hear them at the Partisan in a little bit, and for lots fewer dineros. I can spend that extra at Reinero's.
While photographing sparrows, I found a dove and a jay.

preferably the one they had in the lobby in the fifties that I got good on,
but that's not too likely.
Say around the first week in February. We can find sumthin' to do fun if the weather's not stable.

The point here is this: some things never are understood, only a nodding acquaintance is really necessary in most situations, but this is vastly interesting to climbers and it ought to be understood that not all are created more equal than others when it comes to climbing and throwing hardballs and swimming and in reaching for a brass ring on a carousel.
