After 5 hours and 17 minutes, the Astros win 13-12 in the 10th inning.
It wasn’t pretty, but it featured five home runs by five different Astros,
a new World Series record.
And the total of 7 means the teams have produced 22 home runs in the series, also a record.

On December 1, 1964, Roy Hofheinz announced that the Harris County Domed Stadium would be called the “Astrodome” and the Colt .45’s would become the “Astros” in 1965.
The long and the short of it.
