Right Now tonight Billy Strings is the opening act
Playing A Solo show
I'm thinking of going to hang around a stage door
to see if I can hear or get in.
The thing is it has been the worst weather of the winter
The ice and snow wouldn't you know.
It is clear & cold tonight the parking lot will be blighted
It is never well lighted
The piles from yesterday's ice rain and snowfall,
Will all be pushed to where I'd hoped to hang out
in my big red sled
a glorified golf cart, it has heat
but I'LL be there standing out.
standing outside in the freezing lot
where the very elegant
mercedes SUV driving well-to-do will sneer
I don't play an instrument
The tour bus will have the prime spot by the door
so far
I

Go
It is Billy Strings . . .
the opening act for " I'm With Her"
The $60 ticket price is a come-on to the Beer tasting
the least attractive of the reasons to go.
Tomorrow And a 2-hour drive a $15 show is not in the cards
think of me warmly please
I'LL need the good vibes...
I don't know my Luthiers, but I'll bet that What William Apostol, "Billy Strings" just chose to play is fine

I was happy, felt I pushed my luck as far as it was worth, catching the opening; SEEING BILLY STRINGS

I'll be looking for you, Perry! Very cool that your guitars will be used in that workshop! I'm not signing up for anything, just there to jam (thursday through sunday), and hence won't be in any of the workshops.
The weather forecast is sketchy, seems to change about every half hour, but you should be fine if you stick to the main roads.

Great videos, Gnome. I was taking lessons from Molly’s dad until I moved to Montana 6 weeks ago. I got to see the Tuttles w/ AJ Lee and Blue Summit quite a few times, plus a few workshops with Molly. Molly, AJ and Sully are all amazing musicians.
