briham89 those vintage electric bikes of yours are bad ass!

How about a Taco Denizen Discount?

Thanks DMT! It's been a labor of love for 5 years. Shoot me an email -> Brian AT vintageelectricbikes.com

We occasionally have demos or slightly scuffed / scratched bikes that I can let go for a great price.

The Cafe is our pedal assist bike, and at 28mph hauls serious ass.
The Tracker and Scrambler are our more motorcycle style throttle bikes, but can still be pedaled, and can go 36mph in race mode. Lots of fun!!!

BruceH. Now that is one of the "same bike" pictures that is great. The cobbles must wear on you after a while on a road bike. Stunning location.

Randy,

yeah, the cobbles really start to wear on you after a few KM's. It's too bad that on the island of Santo Antao there is this spectacular 5000' climb that is stunning on both sides, but it's totally cobbled and the cobbles are in pretty rough shape. If you think it's difficult riding up steep cobbles, just try riding down them!

Here's one of my "bikes" on a recent heavy shopping trip--including 20 lbs. of kitty litter and 5 lbs of awesome coffee at our local roaster. Check 'em out.

Thanks Sketch! I got pretty lucky with it, and it's an amazing machine. I've wanted the Di2 since the Ultegra version came out, and I won't go back to mechanical.

The best part is, there was a bad paint blemish on one of the seat stays - looked like there had been a major frame repair and then painted badly. No bump there or anything, and the frame is solid, but I was still concerned - fixing carbon frames is touchy to say the least.

When I asked Cannondale-Drapac about it, they checked and there was no record of the frame being repaired...but in the interests of being stand-up folks, they are sourcing me another frame at the end of this season.

So, the wife and I are going to head over to Girona, where the training camp is, at the end of the season. Going to pick up the bike, rent one for her, and spend a few days riding in the area. Looking forward to it!

Rule 17 states that if you wear the pro kit, everything must match. I think you are in the clear if you had white socks too :-)

Sounds like you have some great riding planned. Have a blast.

Since I got the new fatty, haven't spent much time on my Reign 2. Here is the fatty enjoying some rest before a sweet DH section:

Hey Mike,

No way will the wife let me go that far North until the little ones mellow out a bit. But on your way to or way back from Santa Rosa, swing by Gilroy and I'll show you Henry Coe SP. I'll be good for a 1/2 day there, but you can spend 3 or 4 days exploring the 260 miles of trail, camping at a different lake each night.

DMT, ha that's great!!! I always get so micro focused on things here, so it's always nice seeing Vintage Electric out in the wild (especially when someone is riding a bike).

We just launched our new bike the Scrambler S today. Biggest battery in the electric bike industry and looks to kill. We had fun with this one :)

took a sixteen miler on it yesterday up to and along the G.C. rim trail, no worries about the battery,
the last part was 400' descent of regenerative charging. finished with bricks in my shoes,
but my bum felt fine!

My bike commute last week. Uphill both ways but the scenery is all-time.
