The US beat Canada four straight heading into the Olympics. I would call that far from dominating.
It would appear i didn't give the american women enough credit.
Truer words have not been spoken. Both teams are the class of women's hockey. A true coin flip for who is better.

I have a quick break from work, but I'm reluctant to indulge in hockey for fear of getting hooked on all the rest of the coverage.
For all my displeasure with some NBC editing issues, and doubts about the quality of the venue, this has been an amazingly entertaining winter Olympics. Board-o-cross, in particular, was worth all the boredom of the so-called "glamor" events in figure skating and ice dancing.
Incidentally, during the Lillehammer Olympics, they interviewed one Norwegian fan who succinctly stated my attitude toward figure skating: "I find it boring. It's just yump turn, yump turn!"
