i'll grant that this is tedious, so after this post i am done (until further provoked) w/ this.
as of now, you have posted 2886 times on ST. this link show posts 2800-2825. your posts in the thread that i just linked to above appear in the 2820's, indicating that your ST career was only 60+ posts long at the time.

on that list, you can just look at the words that show up in each item, you don't even have to bother to open the links to see i'm right, and that you are, as always, full of (sh)it.
just as DMT stated above, your MO is that you intentionally provoke and harrass, and in my case, your tactics were nearly without boundry. i find it entertaining to no end that you now sit back like some sort of statesman and profess to be offended by me or my attitude toward you, please...
you still attempt to point some e-finger at me, claiming to have been the one who was unjustly brow beaten by me, but your posts are there for the record (as are mine), read 'em and weap.

I dunno, thinka Gibson was right? About who starts wars? Fattrad has been advocating war in just about every one of his posts, at least in his non-climbing posts... at least in his political posts.
But nah, greed, power and the desire to control people through either force/coercion, money and/or religion, that's what starts conflicts and wars.
Can't blame that on any one group, though some are more to blame than others such as the neo-cons and their support bodies such as the Project for the New American Century, fundamentalists, neo-liberals, and religious fanatics (on all sides – Christian, Muslim, Hindi, etc).
And Gibson falls into one of those categories, I mean, who the hell builds a chapel in their backyard just to listen to a Latin mass. Religious devotion is one thing but in my book, that steps over the line. The guy is bonkers just like all those scientologists, I mean 75 million years ago DC-10s were used to transport billions of people to earth? Yeah, I can believe that... as science fiction.
To each their own, as long as it doesn't affect my liberty and freedom. Unfortunately, some of these nuts and greedy b*stards are doing just that.
People who hold real Republican values should just kick the neo-cons out and tell them to start their own party, something like The Party To Strip America Of Her Liberty (PSAHL), or DAFT (Die American Freedom, Today).

Matt, the stuff you wrote about me from the formerly-anonymous username FREEclimber was cowardly, divisive, inflammatory, and untrue. I could use your very words above against you in reference to me.
As it stands, if I ever run into you face to face, I will beat the sh#t out of you.
However, I would also accept an apology were you to offer one.

i responded to that before Pedro- when i told you that I simply thought you ought to have been willing to stand up for yourselfand explain yourself.
you were being run out of one town (rc.c) on a rail, accused by many of being both abusive toward women and at least sexually forward toward young (underaged) women- (and at that time it was not like the more recent "discostu" event here, where it was apparently one poster w/ many names). some of the stuff that was going around was pretty severe, and yet you initially refused to even say that what was being said about you was false, you just kept posting "come learn from me" stuff, which in combination w/ the other was even creepier.
all that criminal stuff may have been groundless- or it may have had some foundation, but been blown out of porportion, but to tell the truth i tired of it all long before it ever became clear, if it ever did. as i recall- and this was years ago- all i ever did was harrass you over addressing it, at one point going so far as posting the same comment repeatedly, right after many of your posts, stating that i was not into young girls, and i thought everyone who was also not into young girls ought to be willing to come right out and say so (btw- wouldn't you agree w/ that statement, in general?). several people who knew that was me sent me emails telling me they felt the same way and encouraging me to continue. i only stopped when cmac sent me an email, saying i could harrass you all i wanted but to quit w/ posting the same thing redundantly.

as i type i am remembering little tidbits-
wasn't there something about some teenager by the deli? a 15 year old, if i recall? and you had stated in a post that all you had done was to make some comment to her about wondering what it would be like to kiss her? what i recall was that you also stated seperately that you had dropped that line on a woman whom you later married, and i had pointed out that you were then saying that you used a line that had once been successful for you, very successful in fact, on a girl that was clearly underage---? anyway, i don't remember the specifics, i just remember linking your comments and making that connection in my post.

as far as an apology, i am not offering you one. if you caught unfair flack, i think it is/was obvious to many casual observers that the somewhat smarmy internet persona that you apparently reveled in (noticeably less so since i last called you on it) was a unique catalyst for those allegations to fester upon. would you deny that? it certainly was not my fault that you were kicked off that other site and accused of emailing cheerleaders dirty questions, but i for one thought it was pretty strange that you just started posting like mad around here and didn't bother to deny anything at all about the other site or what those people were posting on ST about you.

my point is, you don't see people accused of that sort of thing every day. i have never been so accused, nor had anyone i have ever heard of, save for you... and yet we know that there are a certain # of some sort of predator types that are successful in baiting and luring young gilrs on the web, we see it on the news all the time.
why should someone who has never heard of you be willing to spend hours or days in researching some whacked out extended drama on another site, just to not feel uncomfortable with you?
i personally know/knew more than one woman who was at best reluctant to vouch for you at the time, and what one told me about her own experience was enough for me not to give you a free pass. you could have just sucked it up and addressed it sooner than you did, as i recall you simply didn't respond to all sorts of stuff where people were posting their stories and whatnot and calling you out. my goal at the time was to not let you ignore it until they got bored of it- i was less tham comfortable w/ that, and i stand by that opinion now.

if you were ever able to demonstrate where i ever accused you of anything that i didn't specifically say was what someone else was saying, and if my posts were ever so overzealous that i became the accuser and not the harrasser that i have described, then i would offer an apology specifically for that behavior (as really i was just hearing this stuff second hand, albeit a slew of second hand stuff was being said), but i do not recall ever playing that role.

so what was the result of all of that? seems like you'd have sued someone? didn't you find god and become a new man? i think i remember a vague type of statement where you simply said you were all square w/ god and so it was all good (so what exactly did she forgive you for?)

btw- i was reminded of that when you started in the "crusade" to defend the WoS crew, and i was curious how much of your interest was/is generated by a shared faith, and your interest in helping out their legacy for that reason. not that that has any bearing, i think that's a fascinating story.

I actually met Grace Slick once. I was working as a delivery driver at a pharmacy in San Francisco, it was the year the Gondola crashed in Vail.
"I don't want to take you from your work, but Grace Slick is out in the front of the store," said my usually weasel-like boss.
I didn't think she was particularly hot,(not on a Julie Newmar, or Peggy Fleming, scale) but as a hardcore deadhead I Had to pay attention.
She bought a stack of sleazy, life of the stars-like magazines.
"Look, I'm buying fidy (first time I heard it)bucks worth of junk mags."
Not that impressive in person, at all. But man, what a voice!! Cool car, too! First Aston Martin I ever touched! Some of her art is cool, as well.

In the meantime, I'm flabbergasted that some (apparently) right wing fundamentalists (some Christian) are posting to a thread, the avowed goal of which is 666 postings. This ain't looking good. What if this causes the appearance of the Great Beast? Is one of us the GB? (Not THAT GB!)
When you know who started his rants, I felt the End Times were on us for sure. Or at least like ending it all. And now, 666 is upon us. Eeek! I must check out Revelations - bound to be lots of good stuff there that would inform this discussion. We're in crackpot territory here - BEWARE!!!
There may still be an underlying unity to the thread. (Ok, Werner, UNITY.) Bringing together the many superficially dissimilar sub-themes into one great flow - character assassination, pet stories, bad jokes, pin ups, politics, and on and on. Even some climbing. A microcosm of our campfire, all in one place. Thesis + antithesis = synthesis.
Perhaps there is PURPOSE to this thread, and MEANING! Stay tuned!
