Riley Wyna - Just imagine if they could feel the heart of a gay person. more importantly, if only everyone could feel the heart of Christ. He loves them. straight, gay, good and bad. He did show me His heart, and how much He loves the lost. i just told you, it is a love of such magnitude, it would be impossible for a human to bare. compound a mothers love for her lost child over a billion times. it is that kind of love. a deeply grieving love. all this bitterness & hate, on both sides, it's all wrong. it's about love. any born again Christian knows about His love. He hates no one. He does hate sin. we are all sinners. i sin every damn day. His heart burns with love. i don't have the words to tell you about what He showed me. how much He loves and yearns for the lost to know Him. once again, all i could say, call out from the depths of my heart was, "I HURT!" ...

Do you dislike gays because they were born that way and you had to be 'born again' to find happiness?
I was raised Roman Catholic,I was an altar boy. If I were ever to be 'born again', it would be as a Mennonite.

Thanks again Splitter! Ur posts that I have caught in the last week have been wrought with sincerity and love. And I have felt them, deep. Your in my prayers.
What I can't understand is why we're getting called the "haters" jus because we do not think homosexualality is natural or moral. Or handing children over to them is morally right. All that
we have done is voice our humble opinion that this is not for the good of all. And at the same time have offered an alternative path. By "we" I mean the few Christians on this taco stand.
When in fact when we voice our opinion against these "acts" we are the ones being bombarded with hateful prejudice and hateful slang language. Homophobe? What is that really?

It's pretty simple. You bringing up the old "handing children over to gays is morally wrong" thing is a perfect example of why people accuse you of homophobia. Do you seriously believe that gay men or women are more likely to abuse your children than straight men or women? Do you think its morally wrong to "hand over" female children to straight male adults? Male children to straight female adults?
Why not just own up to the fact that your religious beliefs require you to either hate gays, or treat them as second class humans, and be done with it? Why keep frantically looking for something that will make you sound like this is anything other than blind religious dogma?
When you try to justify your anti-gay position by supporting it with arguments that just don't stand up, you come off sounding like the people who tried to justify their racial prejudices with pseudo-science in the last century.

Yup, Proven fact for sure -- and you are no doubt ready to cite all that "proof", right? And, of course, it goes without saying in your fantasy world that whenever a child does have 1 man and 1 woman as parents, that child never has problems "somewhere down the line."
