the reason Chris was looking to the side is because fatty was sitting on that side. It's obvious Chris was looking right at fatty while he was talking.

I routinely click on advertising ads, in much the same way that I thumbed through gear catalogs.
As for the banned folks? It was warrrented, given the disrupting bile they brought with their baggage. Maybe let 'em back in as a probationary measure, to see if they can behave (in a sick-as-f*#k manner, as befitting the rest of us. I certainly think that bringing a certain amount of climbing content would be polite and appropriate.
But...LEB stays, Wes goes? WTF?
Hey, it's not my forum, but I enjoy hearing from the Guidos and Hartounis and Hennys and Pat Aments and Duecys and Long Agos and (egads) Ron Amicks and the BBA's of our little guppy pond, so I'll stick around. Plus I realy wanna meet some of these new mutant Woodson crucherz.
Moreover, most of the homeslice brobras I learned to climb with are postin' up. (Paging Tarbuster!)
Besides, with out me, the (c)original bone-crushing American Legend of this world, this cyber-sewer ain't worth squat. So, out of a sense of duty, I persevere. Otherwise I might as well join in on the ongoing unprotected cicle-jerk fanboy barebackers over at 8.nu.

PS props to the Mac for his hands-off approach. He only steps in and intervenes when people decide it's so fulla fecal coliform bullshit posts that could delf-destruct the campfire faster than a squad of badge-heavy tools.

allowing him back "too early" would defeat the effort that CMac reluctantly put forth. There was a reason he got sent packing. It would also send a bad message - "f*#k up? no biggie, i'll be back within a week".

People get bounced out of here for the exact same reason they get 86d out of a bar: they became bad for business, or pissed-off the bartender ( or both ).
If some guy brought a Palin Vagina Face photo into my bar - and passed it around for anybody who came in to see ( including the kids, and sophisticated women ) - he'd be shown the door there too.
I'm not a choirboy, or even religious. I was kicked out of school. I grew up in places like pool halls, bars, and bowling alleys, and then worked the majority of my life in those places. I've probably forgotten more off-color jokes than most people have ever even heard - AND I can find the humor them. Vulgar and obscene language is my specialty. To me, skilled swearing is both interesting and educational.
( I can't help but wonder, though, if the guys who post up the racy photos of women have mothers, sisters, daughters, or have ever had wives or girlfirends they cared about. )
But there is a time and place for everything. You really need to know your audience if you want to break out the crap you know will offend somebody. Here, anybody could be viewing - even kids. So I can totally understand C-Mac wanting to change the vibe of the place by 86-ing a few customers.
Your Mom might not be reading this, but you know damn well somebody's Mom is.
And when you post 30+ times, in one day, to a non-climbing thread, you may be part of the problem.

Chaz - you and I are on the same page. We are adults. There is a time and place for everything. Yeah, we can show some risque stuff here and there, but the hate - meh, take it elsewhere.
As someone posted above - the spring cleaning feels great! I am dreaming of posting TRs and climbing and fun again without fear of heinous attack. Love it! Thanks Chris Mac!

When people are free to post pics with a penis coming from someone's head (the original copyrighted image was stolen, BTW, by Crowley from a large medical organization - I never released it)
Malicious alteration of members personal pics should be a no-no.
