Plaidman, dude what's up with that thumb? Cut it off myself with a hydraulic log splitter. It hurt worse getting it fixed than it did cutting it off. The doc that fixed it up was a hand surgeon named Dr. Palm.

But not for long. Uh oh. These guys look official:
It's the U.S. Coast Guard. They were there to inspect this lighthouse. ( nice work, I'll bet they're happy they got it )
They must have figured my kite and I didn't present any hazard to maritime navigation, so they went about their business after quickly finding out what I was up to.
