The US military has reportedly confirmed an encounter between its naval aircraft and a UFO, which occurred nearly 14 years ago.

A 13-page report commissioned by the Pentagon reveals the details of a cat-and-mouse game between a UFO and a US strike carrier group in the Pacific, according to media reports.

The paper, which was obtained by KLAS-TV, describes an incident that occurred in November 2004 when aircraft carrier USS Nimitz and its escort vessels encountered an unidentified flying craft off the coast of California.

Several months ago video footage allegedly recorded by one of the fighter jets presented during the Nimitz incident was uploaded on YouTube, showing what appears to be a UFO being chased by the aircraft.

The unidentified craft, designated in the report as “Tic Tac,” was described as a 46-foot-long “solid white” object, “smooth with no edges.”

The report allegedly claimed that the unidentified craft resembled no known plane in the world and was capable of “advanced aerodynamic performance,” with “advanced propulsion” and the “ability to cloak or become invisible,” not to mention the ability to render “US radar based engagement capabilities ineffective.”

The UFO reportedly managed to evade the fighter jets, which attempted to intercept it, and was able to “operate unchallenged in close vicinity” to the carrier group.

When that kind of evidence is presented and examined independently and published in peer-reviewed sources, we'll all be more interested.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Vostok-2018 large-scale international drills will be held at five military training grounds and in the waters of the Sea of Japan, the Bering Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk and will become the largest event in the recent history of the country's armed forces maneuvers.

"The Vostok-2018 military maneuvers have begun in Russia's Far East," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The military maneuvers have received an international status since Chinese and Mongolian troops will also take part in one of the drill's stages. In particular, the Chinese Air Force will send 26 helicopters and 6 jets to Russia for taking part in Vostok-2018 military drills, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. According to the ministry, the Chinese Air Force group will also include six Mi-171 helicopters, which have been bought in Russia, as well as nine Z-9 and nine Z-19 choppers.

"Over 6,000 troops from three military formations and three separate units of the Airborne will participate in the Vostok-2018 drills," the ministry said in a statement. The ministry added that over 900 pieces of armoured and wheeled vehicles of the Airborne would be used for the exercises.
