zB, Yes, he says "Aw shucks, I love you." That is so cute.
And Gnome, sir, thank you for that beautiful selection from one of my few YouTube subscriptions -- The Piano Guys. They have true adventures in music.
And the Beethoven quote is exquisite, and long one of my favorites. Thank you very much for that.
Mouse, I can see the rainbow, showing softly against the clouds. Beautiful.
I enjoy flitting in here to the Taco and being a dragonfly on the rocks. Probably eating mosquitoes, yuk.

As feralfae might suggest, that piece ^^^ has some fairy dust in it. Thanks for sharing.
I must thank her for the book 1421 by Gavin Menzies, a Christmas present this past Christmas.
"Thank you, Lady ff."

I sent email to him later than when he posted and he didn't call, so maybe that relaxation video helped.
I know I zonked, finally, while listening to it. It's standard relaxation stuff like "You're limbs are feeling heavy...concentrate on how good it feels to...etc."
Maybe it's his achey joints--he's had lots of shoulder surgery and wants a new brace. This is pretty much his story, but maybe it's something different.
I'm fortunate not to have much joint pain except in the knees right now and it's raining like felines and canines right now.
[Click to View YouTube Video]Maybe he'll get back to us and it's just achey breaking farts.
Dammit!
Seriously!

About
The roots of the American Thoracic Society reach back to 1905,
when a small group of physicians decided that the best way to improve care for tuberculosis patients was to share their experiences and discoveries.
Today, the ATS has grown into an international society with more than 15,000 members.
In this introductory section, you will find information about
the people and programs that make the ATS the world's leading medical association dedicated to advancing
our clinical and scientific understanding of pulmonary diseases, critical illnesses and sleep-related breathing disorders.

The judge decreed it, the clerk he wrote it
The clerk he wrote it down indeed-e
Judge ff has decreed it so. So we now have documented 3 instances of "aw shucks" in rock n'n roll history. Jimi's got two of 'em.
EDIT: Apparently this "aw shucks" business has caught someone else's eye or ears.
These guys find 38.

Which goes to show why you should trust your own judgment rather than just rely on the internet, since none of our three are in the list.
Here's Isaacs's take on the Jesse Stone written song popularized (and mentioned above) by Roy Hamilton (not the UCLA bball guy).
Jesse was well covered
In 1960 Frank Deaton and the Mad-Lads covered the song as a single.
In 1962 Clyde McPhatter released a version of the song on his Little Bitty Pretty One album.
In 1964 The 4 Seasons released a version on their Dawn (Go Away) album.
In 1965 Jerry Lee Lewis released a version on his album, The Return of Rock.[2]
In 1974 Mel Tillis and Sherry Bryce recorded the song. The MGM single reached #11 in the US Country chart.
In 1974 Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen recorded this song for the Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen and it went to #56 on the US charts in 1975.[3]
In 1976, the Manhattan Transfer released a recording of this song on their second album, Coming Out.
In 1976 The Jerry Garcia Band recorded this song at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco which was later released on an album entitled Don't Let Go.
In 1979 Jerry Lee Lewis again recorded the song on his Jerry Lee Lewis album.[4]
In 1979 Isaac Hayes recorded a disco version of the song peaking at #11 on the soul chart and #18 on the Hot 100.[5] The song was Hayes' most successful entry on the disco chart, peaking at #3.[6]
In 1989 Carl Perkins recorded the song for his album Born to Rock.
In 1990 Jeff Lynne, of Electric Light Orchestra, recorded a cover of the song for his first solo album, Armchair Theatre.

The long and short of the doll is that it was a mean gift from my sis, on the occasion of my son's birth.
Then to really sink it into the shaft, she took it back and denied it until 12 years had passed.
Then in an equally inappropriate way and time ,
I have a Teenager ,
well two of them's now,
they know about Captain Tripps,
So, the doll gets returned,
on Christmas eve . . .
Re- gifted as their gift to me?
gift ?. . .
I love the Gerry doll
not the lessons of Frecocktte family that comes with him. . .
(all that I had asked was, Where is the Jerry Doll? & if he could be put back in the Dead shrine at mothers house)
NEXT UP?
There is a silver spoon given to my wife as a wedding present ,
It comes from a very valuable set, that belongs to a family I did not marry into.
that was a crime?
and to teach the Gay daughter a lesson,
her inheritance was given to my wife as a . . . ?

La Migre bump.
Remember! Today is Wednesday and I think Gypsy has a new show, her first of the New Year!
http://www.ashevillefm.org/musical-migrations
It's at ten a.m. Pacific.
Happy New Migrations, Gypsy!
Hey, Gypsy!
Even with the passing trains,
Even through torrential rains,
Think of all the spiritual good
Might come from dwelling in this neighborhood.
Especially that choice Cabin On the Rocky Spur.
The cabin on the rocky spur
Shelters drop-outs from Big Sur.
They sit on two rocky-chairs
Watchin' friends who climb their stairs.
And the postman. Did you know it now costs $.35 to mail a postcard in the USA?
Gmail is just alright with me;
So is music from young Gypsy!
I do like things that come for free.
Like Taco Town, good old ST.

But I value Gypsy's soothing radio voice.
I've never mentioned that before, but hers is mellow and comes from long practical experience.
Raucous has its place, of course.
I could make vapid comparisons of Gypsy's style vs. anyone else's "stage presence" or voice quality, but we all have our favorites, based on whatever criteria each deems important.
A gently burbling brook where HUGE steelhead quietly glide in the tiny pools or a rolling river where people are happy to give.
A steep, intimidating, overhung, redundant sport route where desperation rules or a romp up a 4th class ridge on a clear day (or dead 5.0).
An intricate piece of music with its own scales and odd instruments or a simple ballad sung by a mellow buncha Corsican guys.
[Click to View YouTube Video]I rest my case.

Hey Cosmic F seemed a duxsz, to me too but I'm a birch burner so who can tell ?
I can smell that turd from way far away,
Using his fertilizer, he may grow fine Gurlxz
but his ability to ruin everything is his prime directive,
I won't go into to it but
he is there and I'm jello,
if i was there I'd be mellow

So on topic nature. Thanks for the heads up.
Conversations that bridge and compliment the generation gap are a wonderful thing to be a part of. With tarbuster and Evel I'm sure it was quality stuff, very cool.
Don't give up on the kids though guys, my 20 something friends are running around there with a bottle of liquid acid as we speak.

What 'magic' do others use to loose the border around each snap?
And defeat the ability to enlarge the picture with a tapp
To have No id number that holds the picture in the ST photo library?
I assume it is a trick that needs a faceplanted account. . .im not going there
an account with (photobucket, flickr, or other) hosts your uploaded image and the path? that leads to it looks like this:

sandwich that between {IMG}and{/IMG} but with square brackets in the supertopo text editor box at the point you want a picture to appear ...
and cmac (or RJ) will drive over to wherever that other service's server is and get that image and come back here with it
and hold it up for us to view which is why upon close inspection you see knuckles showing where the frame should be
