hey there say, mouse... wow, the day-trip again, very nice!!
and susets, of course...
say, and MICE everywhere!!! it MUST be due to the cheese, ;)
also, fletcher!!
he PICKED out that mouse panal, for his gift, that he picked
from our list...
and:
i LEARNED the history behind it:
fletcher HELPED an artist, at 'etsy' somewhere, when he found this
panal and ordered it from there... as it was
a SPECIAL made panal--it came with instructions...
i did what they said:
ironed it... washed it... and then re'ironed it to dry it...
SO it is supposed to be washable,
HOWEVER:
NO HOT WATER... OR HARSH DETERGENT...
IN OTHER WORDS:
TELL the mice to eat at the table... or--at the platter,
as the case may be...
ps:
awwww'drey, has a seperate package that was late for the box, to
go with THE NUMBER SEVEN... she may? have mailed it, not sure...
:)
happy 'mouse about the house' night...
ps:
my mom has not called, so i will be so 'nosey' (even though if may not be cozy) to CALL her tomorrow... i just need to know, mom, i will say... :(
happy good eve!

So that's not a quilt, it's a panel, like in a triptych.
Now there is a word never heard with this herd.

"Hold On"
Bless my heart, bless my soul.
Didn't think I'd make it to 22 years old.
There must be someone up above sayin',
"Come on, Brittany, you got to come on up.
You got to hold on...
Hey, you got to hold on..."
So, bless my heart and bless yours too.
I don't know where I'm gonna go
Don't know what I'm gonna do.
There must be somebody up above sayin',
"Come on, Brittany, you got to come on now!
You got to hold on...
Hey, you got to hold on..."
"Yeah! You got to wait!
Yeah! You got to wait!"
But I don't wanna wait!
No, I don't wanna wait...
So, bless my heart and bless my mind.
I got so much to do, I ain't got much time
So, must be someone up above saying,
"Come on, girl! Yeah, you got to get back up!
You got to hold on...
Yeah, you got to hold on..."
"Yeah! You got to wait!"
I don't wanna wait!
But I don't wanna wait!
No, I don't wanna wait!
You got to hold on...
You got to hold on...
You got to hold on...
You got to hold on...

hey there say, mouse... oops, okay, let me try again...
the mouse panals, five... all discussed being ON the quilt...
the quilt is NOW REALLY a quilt, and ONE without guilt, if:
it is not washed to the hilt...
;)
oh no, THAT won't work:
as, if you hilt it up to the light, you'd see it has NO HILT
to be washed to...
SAY, 'i've washed tooooo many quilts take second fiddle to
blankets, when it comes to a good wash...
however, as to a good WASH, one really needs a sleepingbag,
they can handle the rugged terrain far better...
however, far better, or far worse... there is NOTHING like a quilt...
well, except for ol' bobby bob the CAT!
AS, THAT was the guilty quilty that nearly DID him in...
but inDID, did god reach in, and safe him!!!
wow... :O
note:
hope your 'Dcider'ing code is up to par, tonight,
so that you may par'up these words into something that makes
sense...
since, bobby-bob had none, in his non-sense, thus warning us, we NEED some...

You talkin' to me?
You make the quilt. You make the quilt. You make the quilt.
I heard some things. Bobby Bob almost became an echo. Bobby Bob, you listen' to me? Perfect. You talkin' to me or you talkin' to neebee? That's a good kitty. Hello, kitty. You talked to her recently? Really. Those mice! Nice talkin'. Your move. You make the move.
I heard some things. Max, I heard some things. You talkin' to me, Max? Ron, I heard some good things. Martha said hi. She'll look you up. (I want to hear everything. All the good things.) You don't have to worry. She'll make the move. She'll be walkin' around the mountains when she comes. I heard all kinds of things. She'll make the move.
I heard some T Hocking things...Something...oh, yeah...Tad hung his stocking with a slip knot and it slipped. I heard some things that slipped my mind. Punchy? I heard some bells. Ding. Bong. Ding. I heard you say that. I heard some things.
Gene, I heard some things. You were talking to me. I heard we're good to go. You talked to Cosmic. I heard some things.
Echo Summit. Echo Lake. I heard some things. Strawberry's still red. Love before you leap. You make the move. You make the move. The dikes await. Go left, then up, then left, then up, go right, then up...I heard some things. Dikes love to gossip. Belay that. Dikes love to go left, then up, then right, then up, then left, then up, and one-two-three we're waltzing. I got the beat. You got the beat? You make the move, you're leading. I follow, I'm not leading. You make the move. It's your move. 1-2-3, 4-5-6, 7-8...I'm up. Standin' 8! I'm here. You make the move.
I'm the only one here. I'm not there. I'm right here. You lookin' at me?
[Click to View YouTube Video]You walkin' my way, Liz?
Hello, that music...you're near here, leading me on. Just what you want to do. Hopeless. I'm following you. I get it. The Alone Wonderland is kiddie land. Kitty land. Land of litter-bearers. Little kits, are you listening, never knowing a right from a left, look at me.
I'll give you a quarter, for the movies, yeah. Leave me alone with your big sister Liz, who takes care of you when mom's at work. That's a dollar in quarters. Go. No candy, you fatties!
"Here's lookin' at you, Bobby Bob & Weave, Patty-Ann and all."
And very, very thank you all.
I've been all over town, lookin' around. Makin' a crazy-quilt pattern like a punch-drunk boxer.
Here's some looks for you mice and men. Unique in all the county.
Little-known fact, I think. Jimmy O'Neill is not Timmy O'Neill.

I am taking full advantage of having wheels on fire to truck me around to look at stuff. Two more days and it's going to dawn on me that it's gone to Dawn and Vern.
Meh.
It's almost history.

My annual visit to the Barnes & Noble, see. I was lookin' for Chrissie.
Never on Sundays, but I sort of thought that. She used to work with me at B. Dalton Bookseller on the mall. She used to work at the Regency Cinema at the mall. She used to work three jobs to support herself and her mother. Bodacious lady, good friend, go-getter, well-read and well-informed, what's not to like? Happy New Year, Chrissie, wherever you are working today!

For feralfae, a rare jewel with a message for you. Guess who? He's talkin' to you. He's talkin'. He's leavin'. Bye. He'll likely be back as something else. What? He wants fruitcake left out for the birds. Can you, please?
Thank you. Doug was a wildlife biologist once upon a time, studying owls and raptors. The night he escaped, a Great Horned Owl came and perched on the deck railing, and tried to come in a closed window (it was February). Other owls have since come fairly routinely and sit out in the trees, calling until I come outside. I also have the resident Raven. :) And hummingbirds in the summer.
Most winter mornings, I put out suet in the suet post, sunflower seeds, other seeds, and sometimes toast crusts. Before I close the door, there are Pygmy and White- and Red-breasted nuthatches, hairy and downy woodpeckers, house finches, chickadees, flickers, and the occasional Stellars Jay at the feeders. There are two Townsend's Solitaires wintering here in the apple trees. Sometimes I put out apple slices or berries for the Solitaires. But I am cakeless, alas!
The spirit I love left that old embodiment which had the body label of Doug. I was there when spirit left. So I know. Doug's last words, smiling as he looked up at the ceiling, were, "Oh, Wow!" I sent him with my love out to play in the stars. I think he is already back, so I am at peace. :) I have birds to keep fed, and rabbits to keep in chopped carrots, and deer who expect fresh fruits and veggies a few times each week. And play, and the fun of coming here to TOPO and checking on things during these days of not much work to do.
Mouse, sir, thank you for all your scenic and cozy images. I am glad you are enjoying neebee's wonderful surprise box, and so happy it finally made it.
I liked the elf note you wrote for Strider. Nice one.
Thank you for the bird photos. :) I am also enjoying the BIRDS thread.

The gray mouse flew only five feet.

The black mouse flew at least ten feet, unofficially.

i am cherishing this in my heart:
i can see you with all the critters, now...
i am going to try to go treat mine, now... the overbearing old crows, seem to show up and take it all away, :(
but i shall not give up! having been mustered by your cheery work!
oh my, mouse... i missed the neat pics loading, but the ones from the other day are showing faster, so, ?my computer memory, cookies? or something, MUST have made the first ones, easy-access? ...
will let this sit, while i take care of some chores (almost type choss, oh my) ;)) and see what shows up, here, then, as to neat pics!

The "freeway" through Merced runs parallel to the numbered streets, then the "highway" takes an abrupt southerly turn below Yosemite Parkway and runs pretty straight for many miles.
The orange line follows the direction of the streets and freeway; the yellow, the direction of the highway beginning at the parkway, more than less, I think. NO compass, no heading, just dead reckoning will place those peaks in Sequoia National Park/Monarch Wilderness.

Well, I never met a termite that I did not loath ... until now ...
Termites can eat up days and days of your time, even if your time is not cellulose, I've discovered. Ah for the good old days when the only care was whether the Partisan was going to be open on New Year's Eve.
Sixteen minutes is a long time in the modern world, but give the first 1:45 a look if you're so inclined.

Each of us lives in his own Adventureland.
Bruce Willis, the headman of the yipee ki-yays, shops here for roach clips--
Yippie Hippie Shop
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Yippie-Hippie-Shop/149379668433903
just a half a meter off the sidewalk and around the back of that redwood tree.
I wakened for a bodliy function but remembered the gifts--I had fallen asleep like a sack of seaweed, just lay inert for three hours, a standard length of time to sleep if you are my age, and now can't return there. It's not insomnia. It's just something to do till I fall back into slumber.
Jaybro's eighth day present is a locking 'biner, a harness, a 200m rope, and a cheap card.
How can I thank you?
Oh--dreaming. Sleepier than I thought.
Okay, this is the package. It made it here, but was hanging on by the skin of its wrapping paper to being a "secret." I could see the box, but not its contents, a wooden puzzle, the object of which is to confuse the assembler. The set came in a wood box and these were accompanied by the framed tile with the Japanese character for tranquility painted on it and fired.
An old olive oil container--a decorative item, for sure, since the cork is permanently em-placed--is also included at the nominal price of no charge.
And again, I'm not worthy, guys. Thanks.
