She chose the Michael David Petit Petite Sirah from Lodi. Not bad, but not as good as Cycles Gladiator.
We just popped open the Wente Riva Ranch Chardonnay out of Livermore. Great Chard for sure!

<<< [Oooh, what a hottie..... This is Pete, typing on Anita's machine]
We started out with a half-bottle of Cycles Gladiator 2013 Petite Sirah from Lodi, now we're taking a break with a beer.
Wait'll you guys see my new Patagonia Piton Paradise shirt! Stay tuned ....
It's going up to 12 degrees here in Montreal tomorrow. In the words of Barack Obama: "About time, eh?"

It's a Paso Robles kinda' night. Tarrica Zin for starters and a Liberty School Cab 2013 breathing while the steaks cook.
Pro forma:
1. Eldo earlier so I did climb today.
2. No way PTPP deserves to keep such company but I guess somebody has to be the lucky fellow.
Prost!

Started early with a brewski lunch at a local micro brewery, Discretion.
Had one of their IPAs. I'll go back after I get my hair cut ( next door...how convient). There's also a cross fit gym and Tepui Tents all in the same complex. I could do a bunch of things.

We are just finished with a rainy day dinner of Costco roast chicken & Costco Sonoma Old Vine Zine (15.3% alcohol).
What's not to like, since we have another budget bottle of Wine Spectator Rated 90 points Columbia Crest Cab open & in reserve?
Rain continues. I think I miss rock climbing.
Looks like a nationwide rain or snow problem. I do enjoy others suffering with me.

Sorry, Fritz -
Super Sunny with a chance of Shiraz this weekend in Boulder. Hope there's no flashback floods on Choss Creek.

Hey Pete,
Have you been to the Wente winery?
Great sparkling wines hand turned in those ancient sandstone caves
Not a bad dining spot either!

Hey Gregg,
Yes! Mike Stonewalker Davis and I went to the Wente winery for my first visit - it's in Livermore. Bought their Riva Ranch Chardonnay which was really superb that year. The one I just drank was no hell unfortunately, I wonder what happened. One of my favourite wineries in Livermore. Check out Bent Creek and Three Steves if you're there way out in the SE corner, and also Katz and Retzlaff.
Anita and I are listening to Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis and now Metallica while doing a horizontal tasting of 2013 Cycles Gladiator Petite Sirah from Lodi -- Ontario vs Kentucky sourced. Close but Kentucky wins as it's a bit more mellow.
I look derpy. Anita looks cute. Yes she's a big time jazz fan.
Cheers, eh?

Glad you liked the Michael David Petit Petite Sirah from Lodi, where I live. One of my faves. Just got done having dinner with one of the owners, David one of my best friends.

We are toasting another tough week of political threads on ST.
The Columbia Crest H3 Red Blend is going down so well, that Harley (the cat) demanded a second bottle.
Windy & warm in S. Idontno, & more storms coming next week. It is ranchette clean-up time.

1. A glass of Dahlia Chardonnay. $28s buck plus another with the 5 cent sale at BevMo make it a good deal.
2. This part always stumps me. It's not that I can't think of one, it's just that I don't want to but that kind of energy out into the world. Can we change it to One Happy Comment? The world is already inflamed enough.
3. Just got back from a week on the east coast. All I want to do is sit still. Besides. I'm resting my shoulder for the months of March and April - no climbing allowed.
