It was a low-ceilinged affair, our New Years' Eve, a foggy night and the sounds didn't carry well, shot after shot, shell after shell.
But they're still going off and I feel sorry for a lot of yapping pets given the scare of their lives.
BOOM! It's next year!
I'll take it and go to bed (again).

In fairness the photo does not show the leadup, which can be seen here. In even more fairness, I'm not sure moving pictures were in existence when John was performing. :}
