Who are these people, who think a fascist lunatic should be president? Is there that much inbreeding going on in middle America? Too much lead in their drinking water? Is it some devil that possesses them?

Every day there's another crazy, surrealistic news story about Trump.
Here he is, deluding himself that he will capture the Hispanic vote, and then ship those same voters across the border in padlocked cattle cars.

Of the three main Republican candidates remaining, I'd say Cruz is the least likely to get the nomination. He's merely a disruptive as#@&%e and that niche is already being filled by someone better at it than he is.

Trumpanoia is a thought process believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion.[1] Trumpanoid thinking typically includes persecutory, or beliefs of conspiracy concerning a perceived threat towards oneself (e.g. "Everyone is out to Trump me"). Trumpanoia is distinct from phobias, which also involve irrational fear, but usually no blame. Making false accusations and the general distrust of Trumps also frequently accompany Trumpanoia. For example, an incident most people would view as an accident or coincidence, a Trumpanoid person might believe was intentionally done to them by a Trump.
