H, its a bit delusional to again talk about treason of the bush admin in an attempt to somehow deflect focus on the CURRENT treasonous admin. You attempt o justify one by example of another treasonous admin... Its a bit Ironic dontcha think? Our govt ISNT a dem or repub problem, it is squarely BOTH...
The difference is W's administration clearly committed treason whereas no action by the Obama administration has risen anywhere remotely near the level of treason - that is the delusion.

By the way FYI, Bush Sr. (Poppy) made it a treasonable offencse to out a CIA agent.
His boy Spurious George had Valerie Plame outed to punish her husband for not being in lock step with their political agenda.

DMT with all due respect I'm not going to list generally-accepted examples of Bush/Cheney acts of treason and listen to you argue that because they committed them as Americans and some other Americans may have benefitted somehow that they weren't really treasonous. Thanks anyway.

Also by strict definition (though not Congressional Record) Reagan and Bush's arms dealing with Iran to scuttle Jimmy Carter's re-election chances was TREASON.
Iran may not be a mortal enemy to you or me but our government labeled them the enemy thus dealing with them as Reagan/Bush did was an act of TREASON.
Ron no President in history had more cabinet members indicted than Reagan with Bush Jr coming in a close second. Your statements don't hold water.

Dick Cheney conspired, with his right hand man, Lewis "Scooter" Libby to out undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame.
He did so with the help of his friend and sympathetic right winger in the press, the now deceased Robert Novak.
They did this because Plame's husband, former Ambassador Joe Wilson, was pointing out, loudly and publicly, that the so-called Nigerian Yellow Cake docs were laughably fake and those docs were a big part of the justification for invading Iraq as they backed up the lie that Saddam was pursuing nukes (yellow cake is partially refined uranium ore).
Scooter was convicted and did time in a Fed pokey for his role. Like the good minion he was, he refused to implicate Cheney. So I'd say yes, Cheney is in fact a treasonous SOB. And a shitstain on humanity to boot.
