Winemaker, That's a great passage from Catch 22.

So Klimmer, I'm sort of going like (imagine this) one hand and then the other, sort of weighing things, back and forth, up and down, Giant Satanic creatures built Stonehenge, or, on the other hand, humans using tools that they could have made (see previous video on youtube). Which seems more likely? This, Klimmer, is Occam's razor. The simplest explanation, without all sorts of twists and turns and this's and that's, is probably the correct answer.

That's the beauty of science, and as a science teacher, I'm sure you agree with me. This then leads to the likeliest explanation of events. How say you? Complex or simple? Straight forward or complicated, with all sorts of this and that? I suspect, no, I'm certain, what your response will be. You are no science person. If I weave some sort of convoluted explanation of things, involving Nephilim, Satanic Giants, Arks on the Moon, God anointing Donald Trump as the chosen by Jesus, Birdmen of Machu Picu, does that make sense? Holy sh#t Klimmer, Trump is the chosen one? Damn, we're doomed.

Edit: Unless Klimmer's right. Then we're REALLY doomed. At least I am.

The above video of the back yard solo stonemason megalithic mover is really cool.

All about 6 simple machines that fall under the 2 groups:

Levers and Ramps

Classic simple and fundamental physics. He's mostly using levers.

However, ladies and gentlemen, what you seem to fail to realize is that he isn't using stone, but concrete, or cement. He made his huge blocks in situ on site. Ancient Megalithic movers didn't do that. They used quarried stone. Moving them tens of miles, hundreds of miles, to sometimes thousands of miles. Gets a whole lot more complicated.

There are megalithic structures around the world we just don't know how it was done. Even with our advanced stone work and masonry work today we are baffled how precise and perfect some of this ancient stone work is. We have no clue how it was done. Even with our best techniques we couldn't duplicate these structures today. Ancient Aliens on the History channel seems to deal with this topic a great deal.

I would be much more impressed by an old conctretehenge than an old stonehenge.

Cosmiccragsman, we will soon have proof; I just bought a nephelometer for the wine lab I'm starting. Really. So if anyone feels the need for testing, let me know.

I guess you must be on the inside of the truth about aliens like me
The Stapelianathoids are for sure from an alien universe

They use the smell of rotting flesh to bring in other alien life forms that act as communicators, these are disguised as insects.

Are we supposed to believe that beings advanced enough to pilot an "ark" across the galaxy couldn't steer the thing well enough to miss a predictably slow moving moon?

Yes, of course we are. It is a common mistake to overestimate our alien friends. While they are advanced they're not that advanced. For example, those ladders on their saucers. Stuff like that.

Interstellar equivalent of the inconvenience of a rooftop tent. I wonder if they have a better system for waste than going to the RV dump station.

Geez Skep, the ark crashed a long time ago, almost at the beginning of time, about 6000 years ago. Back then gravity hadn't decayed to its current low level, so the moon was spinning around the earth like a frickin' top. It was pretty hard steering that landing, you betcha!

But,but, but there is an
ark on the moon!

Like certain other things,
you've got to have
faith and belief.

Logic and reason
can get in the way.

locker, by definition God can't 'fuk' up.

The dudette is omnipotent; She's just leaving a little morsel of uncertainty in our lives to spice things up. You have to understand that She wants you to decide things for yourself, because of 'free will', but you have to come to the right conclusion, so She leaves little hints about shite and you, sir, have to figure it out! Except She knows all and thus knows what you are going to decide (but can't tell you the answer, because free will). But the best part is that there's only one right answer, so you better study really, really hard. Or else.
