Ed, actually I DID reply...with the same answer I've given before: Need a FINAL PRICE.
Yes/no depends on PRICE.
Why this is so hard put a final number on at this point on is beyond me. But I'm not comitting to buy something at an unknown price. Many people have asked what the thing will cost...still no answer as far as I can tell.

Yikes!!! Talk about missing the forest for the trees!
And big thanks to Ed for all his hard work tracking who wants one. Gauging the viability of the whole project would have been that much more difficult without Ed's being so kind as to carry the load on this front.

I have no additional information on the hammers....
the heads were ordered from the fabricator in late February, and were not expected back before the end of March, at the earliest.... there is quality control to be done on the product, and then assembly and testing...

Odd question perhaps but...any chance of being able to pick up and extra handle with the hammer? I've gone thru a couple handles on an old Chouinard hammer and each time I've replaced one I've had to modify the handle to fit the head.
