I click on this thread which is about death and terror attacks in Paris and the first thing I see on the last page are comments about abortion, pensions and bolting controversies. For shame. lynnie

Priceless, utterly, Priceless.
Amazingly, there wasn't a peep on any of the major news media's regarding this confirmed ISIS attack that took over 43 innocent lives and injured 243 which took place just hours before the one in Paris.
Nor did the POTUS come on national tv and mention his solidarity with the people of Lebanon. Nor did he even mention this attack in his interview.
Why is that?
Dozens of people have been killed in Lebanon’s worst terrorist attack this year after a double suicide bombing in south Beirut upended a fragile peace.
The health ministry said 43 people had died and 239 had been wounded in the twin blasts on Thursday, which targeted the Shia-majority district of Burj al-Barajneh. It was the first major suicide bombing to strike the country since a similar attack in January that targeted an Alawite area in the northern city of Tripoli. The number of casualties is likely to rise due to the severity of the attack.
The terrorist group Islamic State (Isis) claimed responsibility for the attack on social media, saying the first bomber had parked an explosives-laden motorcycle in the neighbourhood and a second bomber detonated his suicide vest in the gathering that arrived after the first attack. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/12/beirut-bombings-kill-at-least-20-lebanon

U.S. intelligence was able to locate and presumably kill one vile wretch, the so-called jihadi john.
Does it strike anyone here as anomalous that they do not appear to have located the major locations of isis and carpet bombed these locations.
However,

Never forget. This person killed 168 American men, women and CHILDREN. He injured 600 more. He perpetrated the worst case of domestic terrorism in United States history. He wasn't black or brown. This place never changes.
An international tragedy occurs. One that should bring people together. But around here, the conversation quickly becomes about demonizing those with different political values.
Sad.
My heart goes out to the friends and families of the victims of Friday's attack.
