That's OK, Jefe. We've never met, so your insecurities about strangers are understandable.
Get a passport and visit others who don't surf in Arizona. Broaden your horizon and like magic, people are reasonably agreeable and similar, where ever you go.

Accidentally hit show all on This Thread with my dopey finger on my dumb phone and there are some awesome posts. Had me rolling pretty good, saved a few pics and cartoons. I think it will go down in history as the all time troll. It has gotten everyone to post to it at one time or another and Couchy just rolls on. Pretty entertaining.

On the subject of deleting threads, or posts.... there's somewhat of a "solution".
Go to the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive), at http://archive.org/web/ . Look for "Save Page Now", lower right. Paste in the URL for whatever thread. When you copy the URL, be sure to "Show all" for the thread, so you don't get just 20 posts at a time.
Click "Save Page" and the thread will be archived at that exact date and time, for later reference for everyone on the internet. Pretty cool!
I wish I'd done this for some of the stories Coz posted, plus a number of other threads that were important for various reasons.

I deleted because I was deep in the throes of a bad pharmacological drug reaction, having paranoid waking nightmares of an army of unemployed dirt-lurkers casing my apartment (disguised as postal workers, middle-aged dog walkers and the like) who had obviously been informed of my location through this site!
Sweet Jesus, the terror that ensued drove me to panel up the windows from the inside with sheets of plywood and 3" decking screws. I barred the doors and kept a keen eye fixed on anything that made sudden, robotic surging motions.
It was all listed in the side-effects that I chose to ignore. Should have passed on the quadrupled dose of allergy medicine and pain-meds. Generally speaking, that's just good advice for anyone.
Stay in school. Don't do drugs. The job, well, that depends on how much climbing needs done.

Sure, why not? Some people seek constant validation through boasting, BITD-isms and other self-aggrandizing, irrelevant posts, just for the sake of posting to let everyone know they might have mattered once.
