Looking forward to the night!
A friend from Sardina recently gave me the drink recipe. You have this after you think you are done drinking for the night. (probably invented by a bartender)
It's called an "Ave Maria"
1 shot Mirto
1 shot Lemoncello
1 shot Grappa
(separately, in that order)
The first one is damn hard to find in the US. The 2nd are available at most Trader Joes.

Sitting here on the balcony in South Lake Tahoe after an amazing sunny week of skiing at Heavenly. Lots of sun and beer breaks today. My son Will and I were sitting in the sun with our shirts off, and the hotties were calling us Canadian Bakin'. Going home with a pretty darn good suntan from the waist up.
Heading out for karaoke later, not yet even close to drunk, but working on it.

A little "straight edge" going on there, Hankster?
I am right there with ya...I had to give up the devil drink due to years of use and abuse.
Three observations regarding drinking:
1. I sure didn't enjoy myself when I had to control my intake.
2. When I did not have to control my intake, the results were always the same...blackout, hangover and maintenance drinking / hair of the dog the next day.
3. The next day sucked and the vicious circle continued...
