Here are two pictures that are a part of my story. The first is the Clarkia Idaho two room schoolhouse.

And here are the kids in the upper 4 grades.

Can anybody spot me?

Edit: The girl on the top left was named Margo and her dad was a forest ranger. She was the hottest.

Banquo: The ranger's daughter does look hot. Where are you in the photo?

Ah Clarkia! As one of only three people on ST who has been to Clarkia, I had best post a photo of nearby Freezeout Ridge that I took on this stenuous climbing adventure in 2012.

Clarkia was my first town in 3 days, & no I didn't stop.

Fritz, I'm the dork in the glasses with his ears sticking out in the back row. Melody is on my right and Buck is on my left. He looks like a Buck doesn't he?

I know Clarkia, it sits in one of my favorite ID zones for sure!

Thanks for the pics Banquo and Fritz thanks for the link...don't know how I missed that. That stateline country is amazing, you find garnets in the bottoms and I have found(and never taken) many arrow heads along the stateline. That zone makes me feel alive and alone, even though their are roads and trails n'sh#t.

Small world...I bought a PUR from you after RepVisit to Pipestone and that sucker was with me on most of my MTB traverses of the stateline and even MTB approaches to Kelly's Thumb. You ever spend time in the KellyFork zone?

Cragar! That makes four of us on ST that have enjoyed (or not) the charms (or not) of Clarkia.

Re your comment:

One of my most favorite spots in darkest Idaho.

2 1/2 day N. Idaho adventure into big-river & dark-forests.

I couldn't resist chiming in about Clarkia, Idaho, as I worked on the US Forest Circus St. Joe Hotshot Crew out of Clarkia in '70 & '71.

So I'm the fifth that knows of Clarkia ID for two summers (for better or worse)...
