I almost think that Trump is either a democrat plant, or the media is hyping him to assure the democrat victory.
It's not beyond the realm of the possible.
Trump took the call from his office in Trump Tower in New York, according to the four allies, who requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly. The call came as Trump was making a final decision about whether to run, and he was candid about his political ambitions and his potential interest in seeking the White House during the talk, these allies said.
The 42nd president listened intently and then analyzed Trump’s prospects and his desire to rouse the GOP base, the Trump allies said.
The tone of the call was informal, and Clinton never urged Trump to run, the four people said. Rather, they said, Clinton sounded curious about Trump’s moves toward a presidential bid and told Trump that he was striking a chord with frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right.
One person with knowledge of Clinton’s end of the call said the former president was upbeat and encouraging during the conversation, which occurred as Trump was speaking out about GOP politics and his prescriptions for the nation…
It is not difficult to imagine Bill's laughter the moment after he hung up the phone.

BTW, the Tongan elevator dude on a house I did in Beverly Hills slung some sh!t Oprah's
way after he put hers in up by Santa Barbara. He said she was no democrat, unless
democrats are supposed to bow and scrape but Tongans don't take to that sh!t. She was
too skinny for his likes, too.

Nah Crank. My ideology is more aligned with Ted Cruz, but unless he can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat I have to go with the winner-excluding Rubio of course. There has to be a crackdown on corruption and reversal of our present course. Many, many pols of both stripes must be drummed out or prosecuted and their little socialist droog supporters put on the other side of the wall.

that was one of the best John Oliver segments I've ever seen him do... thanks Nita.
anybody who would cast a vote for a man who has repeatedly stated:

is supporting a man who has openly and repeatedly pledged that he would kill innocent people and commit war crimes. and that's only one of the ways trump has advocated war crimes as a way "forward".
this is the first time in my lifetime that the usual, if ---------- gets elected president then i'm moving to ---------, should be more than just a metaphor, and be under serious consideration by anyone with even a most cursory understanding of history.
while i still believe that trump will not become president, i also didn't think eight months ago that there was any chance he'd become the republican candidate...
and so at first this was entertaining in the same way that watching an empty building begin to explode with the fireworks of demolition, is entertaining...
and then you look again and realize the building is still filled with people.

We need the contest to continue as it presently exists all the way up to the election, if the status of the republican party is to be revealed in its entirety; and the makeup of Congress changed, we need there to be a third party candidacy.
Edit:
Earlier I commented that while we have for decades accepted the reporting of news as a form of entertainment( infotainment), Trump now acts to make elections a form of entertainment(electainment).
If Trump choses to undertake a third party candidacy for reasons not entirely clear to us, we may have to accept as a possibility that he is a patriot.
